For those interested Whickam Motor Club have invited members to their inter club quiz tomorrow night, 30th April. It starts at 20:30 at Kibblesworth Club.

This weekend sees a new event to the rally calendar with the first running of Swift Shirts & Signs Yorkshire Dales Stages Rally.

The club has two crews out competing.

First being Barry Renwick and Warren Scott in their Fiesta seeded at car 33.

Second pairing of Andrew Plunkett and James Burns in their slightly older historic Mk2 es**rt at car 66.

Sunday seen the action return to Croft for the Jack Frost Rally. The event consisted of 7 stages around the circuit with the last few running into the darkness. Many crews mentioned about the rather challenging chicanes.

Andrew Plunkett drove his Mk2 Es**rt navigated by Liam Charlton. The pair having a relatively trouble free run finishing the day in 18th overall.

Just 17 seconds behind in 19th place was Garry Salmon and Dylan Scott in the Impreza. The pair also finished second in class so collected a trophy at the awards presentation.

Jon Olds and co-driver Stuart Simpson persevered through their challenges after removing the wing on the Golf but managed to make the end in 38th overall.

Unfortunately Paul Irving and Warren Scott had an early finish after a moment on stage 1 causing them to retire with suspension damage.

The 2025 Jack Frost Stages Rally is nearly upon us and the club have several members making the journey to Croft Circuit to compete.

Saturday seen 3 of our club members make the long journey up north to compete in the 2025 Autosave Components Kinloss Winter Stages Rally at RAF Kinloss Barracks.

Dylan Scott was navigating for Neil Thompson in the Vauxhall Corsa. The pair finished 17th overall and 2nd in class claiming a trophy after the rally.

Garry Salmon drove his Subaru Impreza navigated by Warren Scott. The pair finished 28th overall and 8th in class.

Both crews had their challenges but enjoyed the long trip up north.
