⭐⭐ WE'VE DONE IT - 301.1 MILES!!! ⭐⭐

Girls, we're so so very proud of you! What a fabulous achievement! ❤️

You've worked so hard to do this and despite many obstacles along the way, you've battled on to achieve what you set out to do. And you've finished not too far behind your original end date!

We didn't ride the last mile on the beach as planned, due to restricted beach opening times making our plans somewhat difficult to achieve.

However, we will take the girls and ponies to the beach during the summer holidays when both mums have a few days off work. We will of course update this page with the girls and ponies on the beach 😊

Thank you to everyone for your support, encouragement and donations - we can't thank you enough. It's meant the world to the girls, to know so many were rooting for them and we are over the moon with how much their confidence has grown since starting the challenge.

And most importantly, they smashed their fundraising target for the RDA - a very worthy cause!

No miles today as it's far too hot!

Mia and Ellie are planning a synchronised ride tomorrow to smash the last 5.7 miles 😁😁

Mia met with her new hacking buddy Zara this morning, who keeps her pony just around the corner from our new yard.

It was lovely to meet Zara's mum and their lovely horses!

Unfortunately Mia's mum needs to brush up on her photography skills - she completely cut Zara and Carlton out of the picture 🙄

Thorn enjoyed a lovely hose down when we got back - it's too hot to do much so we set off early to avoid the heat.

Mia and Thorn managed a quick hack out this evening, the last of many lovely hacks from their current yard.

Thorn is off to pastures new on Saturday, where he can be a horse and graze safely 🐴

Mia is more excited that he's only 3 and a bit miles from home. This means she can hack him to the house. I wonder how long before she asks if he can come in the house! 😂

Quick hack for this pair tonight as it's Mia's little brothers birthday, so we had to dash home for birthday cake and sparkles.

Ellie and Mia timed their ride and walk this afternoon so they were technically doing it together. Well, in spirit at least.

Thorn enjoyed a walk out as he'd done so many miles over the weekend, he deserved an easy day today. He also had some sticky w**d as a treat. Mia's mum walked the whole way around with a sticky w**d baby in her jacket 😂

We have just over 14 miles left - well done girls and ponies! 💕

We've smashed miles this weekend and now have just 18 miles left to reach our 300 mile target! 😁

These last few weeks have been challenging and upsetting, for a variety of reasons, yet Mia has soldiered on.
