So I have been looking back at my time fishing in and around the Northamptonshire area with the weather to cold for me to get out and fish I'm looking for some other means to keep busy so researching is a good way to keep your mind active I have been looking into salps a small gelatine creature that pumps water through its body to phytoplankton feed then jets the water out there back moving them using jet propoltion these are interesting as they live in the ocean userly and deep cold water I studied water from eastfield Park and have found a very huge amount of these creatures in there apparently they are a great food source for fish and not dangerous to humans just thought it would interesting to share and see people's thoughts on this of how did they get so far from home are they naturally ment to be there and what not
