Nether Heyford Village Hall

Despite polite requests the Village Hall bins have again been filled with waste from someone’s house. There are electrical items including a keyboard. The Council will not now empty the recycle bin as it is deemed to be “contaminated”.
Consequently someone from the halls management committee will now have to delve in the bin and remove the flytipped items. This has been a recent problem so if you have moved to the village please know that this is not acceptable. Further it is antisocial, not community minded and downright annoying. Grow up and dispose properly of your own waste!
Other than the recycling from the playing fields no other waste should be imported from off site.

All in all…. A great Fete 🥳

Thank you to all who turned out for the fete. It was an amazing success despite the challenges. The hall was buzzing. Too many to thank individually but team work certainly made the dream work!

We know it’s raining, but the fete is going ahead. The program is changing but we still have good causes to support, cream tea and a bar. Burgers by the Scouts and some lovely stalls coming.
