Last Sunday saw the final round of the Northants spring league for the over 60’s at Redwell.
Was a great team performance all round and finally finished runners up, well done to Moulton Masters Stripes who were crowned champions.
A big congratulations to Phil Critchell for finishing as top goal scorer, a great effort! 💪
A big thank you to everyone that played and helped in the spring league, was a solid season, hopefully we can go one better next season! ⚽️❤️

Yesterday saw the second round of Northants spring league for the over 50’s and 65’s at Redwell.
It was a tough day at the office for the clarets but with another round still to play we can bring it back.
It was a brilliant day for the whites who won 4 games and drew 1 that gives them a real chance going into the final round.
The 65’s managed 2 wins and 2 draws, solid all over the pitch.
Every player across all three divisions represented the club just as it should be, well done to all players, some amazing performances from all three teams, gives our club a chance of winning all their respective leagues going into the final round next month. 💪❤️⚽️

Was a real team effort all round, only 1 goal conceded all morning, all to play for going into the final round.

Today marked the start of the over 60’s spring Northants league at Redwell.
Some very hard fought games, but we stuck together as a team and played some great football.

Well done to everyone yesterday who turned out to support our team-mate Blue Stewart in raising funds for his family's area in Jamaica after the devastation of hurricane Melissa.

A big thank you for your donations in terms of bottles, raffle prizes and digging deep for such a worthy cause, you raised over £500. A sterling effort! 👏

Today was the last round of the 50+ Northants autumn league at Redwell.
Out of nowhere, with teams taking points out of each other, Kettering Town WFC won the league, congratulations to them 👏
Credit to both our squads, who gave it their all, unfortunately it wasn’t to be Clarets day.
We go again in the spring.

Today was the last round for the over 60’s in the Northants Autumn league at Redwell with it all to play for.
As a team everyone played their part and very solid in the game plan, no goals conceded, absolutely brilliant, but it wasn’t meant to be, equal on points with Moulton Masters stripes and lost out by a goal difference of two!
A valiant effort, let’s go one better next season! Well done all👌⚽️❤️

Monday evening some of the men’s squad got to play in a little round robin tournament at Rushden & Diamonds.
Played 5 games, Won 3, Drew 1 & lost 1.

Well played to both squads.
No easy games, all competitive and could have gone either way.
Clarets it’s still in our own hands, with a game in hand.

Sunday saw the second round of fixtures in the Northants league for the over 60’s at a very foggy Redwell.
The whole team played their part well.
Good defending by Dennis and Pauls 😊, Lee and Sohrab in the middle, Matt up front and more importantly so many good saves by John. Obviously, under Bob’s management. Well done all.⚽️🥅👏👏👏
