🥇 What is Judo?

Judo is an Olympic combat sport and martial art founded in Japan by Jigoro Kano in 1882. 🇯🇵

Based on throwing techniques, grappling, groundwork and controlled submissions, Judo teaches much more than just how to compete. It helps develop coordination, balance, discipline, confidence, fitness and respect - all while learning practical skills and having fun! 💪🧠

🐉 Under 8 Mini Judokas: 17:00 - 18:00
🥋 8-12 Juniors: 18:00 - 19:00
🔥 13+ Teens: 19:00 - 20:00

Huge congratulations for stepping on the mats and giving your very best! Thank you to coaches and families who supported and tracelled, remained positive and respectful throughout the (long for some of us) day. This competition was the loudest one so far and the whole dojo buzzed with cheers and emotions! 🫶

Last, but surely not least, biggest thank you for the most positive and productive volunteers who helped us make it happen. Our young ref officials absolutely smashed it from start to finish. From setting up the dojo a day before, to running the comps smoothly, to wrapping up, our community makes us truly proud of what we've been building 💪🥋
