Ki Aikido develops relaxation, calmness, confidence, and a positive mind. It is exercise for mind and body with no aggression, violence or competition.

In the Art of Ki Aikido there is no aggression, no violence, no tension and no competition. The purpose of the practise is to learn to co-ordinate our mind and body. Ultimately we wish to enhance the quality of our lives, and those of others. The beautiful, flowing, relaxed, and yet powerful, movements of aikido are performed to the students own level of ability. Please note that theNorthampton Ki Aikido club will be closed for the first week of August, as Sensei Walters will be attending the Ki Federation Summer Seminar. So there will be no class on Wednesday, 5th August and Friday, 7th August. We start back on the 12th August.

Our adult classes run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesdays and 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Fridays. The junior class runs from 6:30pm to 7:45pm on Fridays.
