We have a vacancy for an additional experienced plant & tool fitter / mechanic to work with hydraulic & electric plant and tools, working at our workshop in Northampton and at our customers sites. We manufacture for the construction and civil engineering industries new machinery, repair and refurbish old and also hire out. The ideal candidate would be experienced in this area and be able to drive & tow and work some overtime as required.

Office Administrator Position Available!!

MDS have an opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team on a permanent basis.

Permanent, Full Time 40 hrs per week (flexible working available)
Salary £ 7.50 per hr

Job role includes: Responsible for the day to day running of the office which sits within a busy manufacturing environment, managing paperwork for orders and deliveries, general administration and telephone contact. Production of marketing literature when needed, inputting on an online shop and monitoring of the companies website. The role also includes basic financial processes such as invoicing; purchase orders, petty cash etc.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administration and IT skills. You must also have a professional telephone manner, as you will be speaking to customers on a daily basis. You will be required to greet customers so must have a professional attitude. Ideally applications will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment and the use of sage financial software although this is not essential, as training is available.

Whilst the role is a full time permanent position, we welcome applications from people looking for part time and offer flexible working opportunities
