Srixon Fitting Event - Wednesday 29th March

Srixon will be sending us one of their Master Fitting Technicians for a whole day later in the month. They will be here to fit the latest Srixon ZX-II range along with Cleveland & XXIO products.
From 10:30-12 will be a demo/trial period on the practice ground, whereby you can drop in and hit some of the new clubs, try them against your current ones. This is perfect for those wanting to look at a new hybrid/fairway wood/wedges.
From 12-6 will be the traditional style fitting event. Booking will be required and depending on what your being fitted for will last between 30mins - 1hour. This is aimed at those wanting irons or drivers, where we can get into the finer details of shafts,lofts,balls etc.
Then from 6pm-7pm will be another demo hour. For those who may want to come along after work to try out some of the latest products available and compare to their own.

Exciting news!! To coincide with Srixon signing 4time major champion Brooks Koepka, we are hosting another fitting event on Wednesday 8th December. Dear Member Who Might Like A Golf Trip

In view of yesterday's changes towards easing restrictions in worldwide travel including to Turkey I thought you might be interested in having a golfing vacation.

SRIXON/CLEVELAND - FITTING DAY

Srixon/Cleveland will be at Overstone Park on 18th October. They will have all their latest equipment available for you to try including all the Srixon ZX range, as well as the latest Cleveland Wedges. You will be fitted by one of Srixon’s Master Club Fitters and also learn which ball will benefit you with a simple ball fitting.

CUSTOM FIT NEWS of the MONTH

As I write this message Hideki Matsuyama has just dropped a shot on the first but the special discount we are offering on custom fit Srixon equipment made this month if he wins is still looking good.
Harry and I have been working with the SRIXON family of golf equipment over the last few years and this includes CLEVELAND and XX10.
Harry who is now a Srixon ambassador and I feel we have the custom fit capacity to help every type of golfer improve their game whatever their ability.
This can be anything from Drivers to wedges including iron sets and utility clubs
Srixon irons are classically shaped forged heads aimed at low to medium handicap players who have the ability to strike the ball consistently.
They will soon be bringing out a new powerful and very attractive looking iron aimed at higher handicap players (ZX4)
Their new drivers with various shaft options are now a match for the Calloway and Taylor Made models.
Cleveland apart from producing the finest hybrid and cavity backed irons on the market that all male and female golfers can enjoy it is in the WEDGE department that they are renowned as the best in the golf business.
We will be trying to promote the benefits of buying sets of wedges particularly as wedge shots can account for between 15% to 20% of the total shots you play on a golf course.
We now have the wedge fitting system in the studio and Harry will be able to help you select your wedge set and if required additionally teach you to improve your technique to get the best out of them.
XX10 is the parent companies premium brand. The component technology and the design is the most advanced on the market. It is specifically designed to help players with slow to medium swing speeds.
Having been injured for most of the year and losing at least 10% of my already limited power I can truly say these clubs have really helped in my rehabilitation.
We will very soon have full trial sets in various models for ladies and men to try. Simply take them on the course and play. We will love your feedback.

SRIXON/CLEVELAND FITTING EVENT

On Tuesday 22nd September we are hosting a pre launch fitting event for the new Srixon ZX range as well as Cleveland product range and XXIO. Due to COVID regulations we are very limited in how many fittings we can do so please drop me a message if you would like to come. We are offering a 30minute fitting with one of the Tour Fitting Team from Srixon. The new Srixon range is fantastic and the Cleveland ZIPCORE wedges is rumoured to be the best wedge ever made according to the Tour Pros.

Having these advanced launch monitors allows us to dial in the numbers either indoor or outside, which ever you prefer.
We’ve only taken delivery of the new GCQuad today but we can’t wait to get it up and running and show you all how good it really is.

We are pleased to announce that we will be open for custom fittings as of Monday 15th June.

Having been a tough few months, I’m sure you’re all glad to be back out playing and enjoying your golf. Following government guidelines, we are able to open the studio for fittings as of Monday, with social distancing rules in place.

We have been in contact with our brands/manufacturers who understand the situation many are in and have agreed to reduce prices. They as well as us, understand that times are a little tougher right now and want to help people get the equipment they need. So please get in touch to find out about some special offers especially on Srixon Hardware!!

Studio Guidelines

We will adhere to all the government guidelines as well as the advice from the PGA and England Golf.
To summarise the main points they are as follows.
1. Social distancing is still paramount to respect the 2 metre rule and the studio is marked out accordingly
2. Please use the hand sanitiser gel provided when you arrive entering the studio.
This should be done on leaving also.
Unfortunately we are not able to greet you with a hand shake or other forms of contact.
3. Please if possible use your own balls and tee pegs
4. All equipment we hand to you will be disinfected and wiped clean.
5. Harry and I will be wearing face masks even though they are not currently compulsory.
We will provide a face mask for the customer if requested or required.
6. The onsite toilet will be available to use and all touch surfaces will be sanitised before and after any use. This will also apply to the studio area
7. We will leave 30minutes minimum between each fitting to allow us to clean and sanitise all surfaces.

Custom fitting from the studio has made a good start through January and several members and guest visitors have been fitted with the new Cleveland Turbo Launcher or UHX models. All have gained distance and accuracy plus most importantly ENJOYMENT.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of being both professionally fitted and then purchasing your custom fit clubs from your Club Professional?

It is also interesting that Srixon won its first major last year with Shane Lowry winning the Open at Royal Portrush with amazing golf.
