Consistency wins
small progress over time beats big effort that isn’t sustained
Easter hols meant a more relaxed attitude to nutrition and less prior training but that’s ok because i use the term times as my focus and am consistent knowing that every month and every year iI’ll get healthier and stronger
whatever you do just keep going, don’t stop and keep learning and growing

Always looking to progress not to be perfect 👌🏻
Health should be about a whole lifestyle and attitude not about fixing yourself
The feeling of being fitter and stronger far outweighs the need to look a certain way
Approaching 50 next year I’m grateful to be able to move and lift and feel good 😊
I work out 3x a week and make sure I’m fueling myself well
It’s simple and I coach others to do the same

After cricking my neck somehow on Tuesday ( the joys of getting old!) I’ve not had the best few days of sleep and pain but today finally felt a bit better so did a very light session in the gym!
Excited for our holiday soon and I will defo be indulging a bit as I’ve been “on plan” now for 6 months!
Then as soon as we’re back I’ll be back to my normal on plan eating and training with a day a week of “anything goes “ 😂
Tbh I definitely don’t crave the food I used to- habits changing means cravings gone
But in Devon a cream tea is a MUST!
Jam or cream first folks???

Met up with my fellow “fitness fwend!”
Both getting closer to 50 and both took charge of our health in the last year
We chatted for hours last night and talked about feeling the best we ever have at an age that women tend to become invisible!
We are both more able to manage the hormone rollercoaster and feel Comfortable in our own skin - the secret ?
Lifting weights, a good balanced diet with plenty of protein 90% of the time and lots of water and good sleep!

Getting fitter and stronger in the last 6 months has meant I’m able to do more of this!
As an older mum, taking my 6 yr old to a horse competition and being able to run up and down huge arenas in the sunshine means the world to me.
Don’t get me wrong I’m still puffing and as you can see I wear a knee support for me ‘ol bones 😂 but feeling lighter, leaner and stronger definitely keeps me motivated to keep putting in the work at home.
I’m working with lots of lovely mums of all ages atm and giving themselves times for them to work on them is so important .
I have some availability left for 1:1 PT.

Training for women in your 30’s 40’s and 50’ and. behind is so important. We start to lose muscle mass in our 30’s and as we age this means we are more susceptible to injury and aches and pains along with the normal changes it can leave us feeling more immobile.
Being fit isn’t about being muscly or eating chicken everyday but about being able to have energy, sleep well, think clearly and to not tweak your back when getting you the car with all your kids school stuff!
Training can be fun and simple if you know how
Short session form regularly add up to long term huge health benefits.
