📱🌊 A VERY DIFFERENT KIND OF DIVE…

Not every dive is about training, qualifications or exploring somewhere new. Sometimes, it’s simply about trying to help someone. ❤️

Recently, we were contacted by someone who had unfortunately dropped their phone into the River Nene near Earls Barton. 📱💦

And this wasn’t just any phone — it contained precious family photographs and memories that simply can’t be replaced. 📸❤️

We made two separate visits to the river to see if we could locate and retrieve it. Our team searched, worked through the conditions and gave it everything we could… but unfortunately, despite all the effort, we weren’t able to trace the phone. 😔

It’s frustrating when you know there are irreplaceable memories sitting somewhere beneath the water, but sometimes the river wins. 🌊

A massive thank you to our team for putting the time, effort and expertise into both searches. 🙌🤿 Even when the outcome isn’t the one we hoped for, the willingness to step up and help is something to be proud of. 💙

⚠️ And a quick but important reminder…

If you ever drop something into a river, please don’t be tempted to jump in after it yourself. Rivers can look calm and harmless on the surface, but conditions underwater can be completely different. Strong currents, poor visibility, cold water, entanglement hazards and hidden obstacles can all turn a simple retrieval into a very dangerous situation. 🌊⚠️

Leave it to people with the appropriate training, equipment and experience to assess whether a recovery can be carried out safely. 🤿🛟

Sometimes the safest dive is the one you don’t make.

Although we didn’t manage to recover the phone this time, we’re proud that we gave it our best shot. 💪🤿

From gearing up and getting ready for the water, to working through skills, exploring underwater and celebrating those all-important course completions — there were plenty of moments worth capturing! 🐠📚🤿

With FIVE courses running, the site was full of activity and our students were absolutely smashing it! 💪👏

It’s always brilliant seeing divers progress from those first nervous moments to confidently putting their skills into practice. 🌊💙 Every dive is another step towards becoming a better, safer and more confident diver. 🤿

A massive well done once again to everyone who joined us, and a huge thank you to the instructors and support crew who helped make the weekend such a success. 🙌❤️

🌊🤿 THURSDAY 6TH AUGUST — ANOTHER BUSY NIGHT IN THE POOL! 🏊‍♀️💦

What a fantastic evening in the pool! 🌟 The training never stops, and it was brilliant to see so many divers progressing, learning and enjoying their time in the water. 🐠🤿

🌊 Open Water students were taking the next exciting step with their Drysuit Orientations! 🥶➡️🤿 Getting comfortable in the kit and building confidence ready for their upcoming Open Water dates — the real adventure is getting closer! 🌊🏕️

👏 Liz, Jerram & Natasha all successfully completed their PADI Reactivate sessions! 🎉🤿 Fantastic work getting those skills refreshed and ready to get back underwater. 🐠💙

🐠 Oscar Scarley enjoyed a Discover Scuba Diving experience — what a brilliant way to get a first taste of the underwater world! 🌊🤩

🫧 And Lewis Johnson took the plunge with a Bubblemaker experience! 🐡💦 Plenty of bubbles, smiles and underwater fun! 😄🤿

🌊🤿 What a fantastic pool session we had last Thursday! 🤿🌊

There was plenty happening in the pool as everyone took another step forward on their diving journey! 💙

🐠 A huge welcome and well done to our 4 Bubblemakers – Frankie, Clara, Holly & James! They experienced the magic of scuba diving for the very first time, and judging by the smiles, they absolutely loved every minute! 🌟👏 We hope to see you all back in the water again soon!

👏 Congratulations to Nathan, who successfully completed his Sidemount Orientation before heading off to Stoney Cove this weekend to put his new skills into practice. 🤿💪

🥶 Well done to Matt & Emma, who completed their Drysuit Orientation and are also heading to Stoney Cove this weekend. We can’t wait to see them putting everything they’ve learned into action!

🌊 Our Open Water Course students are now heading into their final pool sessions, fine-tuning their skills and building confidence before taking the plunge into open water at Stoney Cove later this month. The excitement is definitely building! 🙌💙

It’s brilliant to see divers of all ages and experience levels progressing, learning new skills and enjoying every moment underwater. We can’t wait to see what this weekend and the rest of August brings! 🌊🐟

🌊🐠 Thursday Night at the Pool – What a Fantastic Session! 🐠🌊

Last Thursday was Kids’ Night, and what an incredible evening it was! 🎉

Huge congratulations to Jake, Finn and Seraphina, who all successfully completed their AquaMission Underwater Science! 🔬🤿 Their curiosity and underwater skills were on full display, making for a fun and educational dive.

👏 Well done to Lara, who completed her AquaMission Snapshot, learning how to capture and appreciate the underwater world in a whole new way! 📸🐟

Another massive congratulations goes to Teddy and Alex, who powered through and completed Seal Team Missions 1 & 2! 💪🌟 They’re building some fantastic scuba skills and confidence with every session.

🏆 The biggest milestone of the night belongs to Jake, who completed his 10th Specialist AquaMission , officially qualifying as a PADI Master Seal! 🎖️🤿 What an amazing achievement—your dedication and enthusiasm have been outstanding, Jake. We’re all incredibly proud of you! 👏🎉

Meanwhile, our Open Water Diver students have now entered the second half of their course, where the excitement really ramps up as they continue developing the skills they’ll need to become certified divers. 🌊💙 We’re also delighted to welcome Lesley, who has joined the group to upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water Diver. Best of luck—we’re looking forward to seeing you all progress! 🤿✨
