Congratulations to Reuben on receiving this well deserved Client Recognition Award for “Stepping Up” 🎉

Whilst undertaking excavation works, Reuben identified material that he suspected could contain asbestos. Rather than continuing, he followed the correct procedure, stopped work immediately, and raised the concern through the appropriate channels.

Subsequent investigations confirmed the presence of asbestos containing material. By taking the time to stop, assess the situation, and do the right thing, Reuben potentially prevented exposure to colleagues and others on site, protecting their health and wellbeing.

This is an excellent example of our safety culture in action when something doesn’t look right, stop, challenge, and seek advice. Safety is about making the right decision, even when it means pausing the job.

🌱 Hydroseeding: Why is it important?

When people see hydroseeding, they often think it's simply about growing grass.

In reality, it's much more than that.

Hydroseeding helps:

✅ Stabilise exposed soils
✅ Reduce erosion from wind and rain
✅ Establish vegetation quickly
✅ Improve site appearance and environmental performance
✅ Provide a cost-effective solution for large areas

On this project, our team applied a specialist mix of seed, mulch, fertiliser and water to create the ideal conditions for successful vegetation establishment.

It's one of those operations that can easily be overlooked, but it plays an important role in protecting the site while helping transform bare ground into a healthy, established landscape.
