There is no bar at Cripps. We provide water, jugs and glasses but you are free to bring your own alcohol if you wish. Here's 3 things you might not know.

1. You don't need to bring a partner.
2. You don't need to come on a specific date - just turn up any Tuesday at 7:30pm.
3. You don't need to come every week

Our classes at Cripps Social Club have been running since 2009! We have taught thousands of people to dance and you can learn too. The hardest thing is turning up at your first class, after that, you'll have a new set of friends and wish you tried it years ago. The main hall is upstairs so enter by the main entrance, turn left and go up the stairs. You will see the Ceroc check-in desk just through the doors. Our lovely venue has a huge sprung dance floor, perfect to dance on and because it is spacious, you can move with confidence. We have installed our own mood lighting system which, during the freestyle part of the night, really adds to the atmosphere. Along with the lighting, we have also installed our own ultra posh sound system, there are 2 bass bins and 2 top of the range 'top' speakers to ensure that our sound system delivers quality and clarity. Cripps Social Club is located in the middle of the Northampton General Hospital. Access to the club is via the Hospital access roads. There are a couple of ways to get to Cripps and we recommend entering the Hospital grounds from Cliftonville Road (A4501) which is easily located by following the multiple signs around town for the Hospital and the Accident & Emergency department. PARKING
From 11 Mar 2024, the Northampton General Hospital have installed ANPR cameras that read your number plate as soon as you enter the hospital. Parking at Cripps Car park or Car park number two is not free. You MUST enter your registration number in the machine that is INSIDE Cripps Centre (not in the car park) before you leave and you will only be charged 60 pence. If you exit the hospital without paying, you will receive a £40 fine. The old system of displaying one of our car park passes will not give you free parking.
