June has been such a joyful month at Brampton Heath, it's been lovely making the most of the sunshine, we have even managed to fit in some outdoor Fitness & Yoga sessions. The Yin & Sound Healing Summer Solstice class with guest teacher Kamila Pinker was such a magical evening and the poppy fields opposite have been absolutely stunning.
As we approach a new month, booking is now open for July. All of the usual classes are on the schedule apart from Friday 7th July when the Yoga and Fitness studio are closed. For those of you that are Early Birds there are two Wake Up & Flow classes on Thursday 6th & 20th July.

Tomorrow evening Tuesday 13th June at 6.30pm will be the first outdoor Yoga Class of the year on the terrace at Yoga Tree Studios Northampton.
A slow vinyasa flow, linking movement with breath. Consisting of standing and lying sequences intelligently weaved together.

✨Fitness & Yoga Fusion - Body Conditioning with weights, standing Yoga sequences, Ab's & Core work finishing with a relaxing yoga stretch.
✨Gym & Body Conditioning - A mix of cardio machines, cables and free weights, some sessions may also include Spinning, Step Aerobics & Interval Training.
✨Gentle Yoga Flow - Whatever level yoga student you are, this is a lovely meditative class linking movement with breath. It's easy on the wrists with attention placed on alignment, technique and how to enter and exit the asanas (postures) safely.
✨Yin & Yang Yoga - Relax your body and de-stress your mind with Classic Hatha, Sun Salutations and Creative Flows. Passive Yin postures are also weaved into the class working into the deeper connective tissues, ligaments, tendons & fascia.
✨Total Body Conditioning - Exactly what it says on the tin! Low Impact Strength & Conditioning with weights working upper body, lower body, Ab's and Core.
✨Wake Up & Flow - Uplifting Vinyasa class to kick off your day.

✨4 Week Warm Yoga Stretch Course For Men - the studio is heated using the far-infrared heating system, this type of heat is very healing on the body.

This year to celebrate the summer solstice on Wednesday 21st June at 6.30pm - 8.15pm join us at Yoga Tree Studios Northampton for a magical evening of Yin & Sound Therapy.
During this session you will be guided into each Yin shape then taken on a deeply relaxing, healing journey through sound and the vibrations of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls as well as the broad spectrum of frequencies emanating from the gong.
The summer solstice signifies the longest, lightest day of the year and the start summer!
There is a shift in the Earth’s energy, it’s a time to honour this energy from the sun and allow the rejuvenation to settle into your bodies to support the integration into the next phase of the year.
The cost for the evening is £25.

Spring Myo Yin Yang - Yang Yoga Mobilising warm-up, Myofascial release (MFR) and Yin Yoga, the focus in this class will be on the Hips and targeting the Liver & Gallbladder Meridian Channels. The class will iron out the kinks in the tissues, helping to release physical and emotional pain & tension, improve circulation and also encourage energy to flow more freely through the body.
Yang Yoga
Warm up the muscles and mobilise the joints.
MFR
Various techniques are used to apply gentle pressure to the tissues using a tennis ball.
Yin Yoga
A practice in which floor-based postures are held for several minutes, encouraging muscular tissue to relax working deep into fascia, connective tissues, ligaments and even the bones!
Individually Yang Yoga, MFR and Yin Yoga are all powerful techniques, when practiced together the benefits are amplified so you get a triple whammy!
All props will be provided at the studio unless you prefer to bring your own, if you are joining the class via zoom you will need a tennis ball and also a bolster & bricks may be useful to help support you.

If you need to cancel any of your pre-booked sessions 24 hours notice is required, subject to availability you can then transfer to another class in the same calendar month. Unfortunately if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice your session is not transferable.

Special Winter Warmer Yoga Class Wednesday 1st February 6.30pm
Using gentle healing heat from the far-infrared heaters the class will begin with a slow mobilising yoga stretch to open up the body, relax tight muscles and calm the mind. Before moving into a Winter Yin practice focusing on the kidney & bladders meridian energy channels to help bring balance back to the body, mind and nourish the organs.
Yin combines modern western science with ancient eastern wisdom inspired by the philosophies of Chinese medicine and Taoist principles. It’s a static yoga practice with longer holds, working into the deep connective tissues, ligaments, tendons, fascia, and even the bones!
During this section of the class you will be using props to help support the body. All props will be provided or alternatively you can bring your own.
