Some questions you may have:

What is Northampton lacrosse and what can it offer me?
- Northampton lacrosse is an all ability club open to both women and men. We offer two training sessions a week, ran by independent coaches, and socialise weekly. Joining a sports team is a great way to meet new people as well as keep fit.

Can men join the team?
- Whilst we currently don’t have a men’s teams within the university, men are more than welcome to get involved within our training session. Until we have our own men’s team we have strong relationship with other lacrosse teams within the area who offer specialised men’s training and game opportunities.

So what is lacrosse?
- Lacrosse is played with up to 10 players. Players use netted sticks to carry, pass, catch and shoot a ball into a goal. Games are played in 4 quarters of 15 minutes and are non contact.

Do I need to have played lacrosse before or can I start as a beginner?
- The majority of the team first learn and play lacrosse for first time at uni! we teach all the basics within the first few week as well as throughout the year! We provide all the equipment needed so no need to buy anything or have any experience!
