Goodbye May 👋
May is one of my favourite months. It feels like the official start to Summer - the fans & air con machines come out & having a few Bank Holidays is always welcomed.
Another busy month:
- We welcomed Katie, Martin, Yas, Gary & Dave to our 6 week kickstart 💚. Welcome guys, can’t wait to start working with you!
- Aash & Nick reached their 50 session milestone. Well done guys - small gifts pending for you both.
- Our member shout out this month goes to the lovely Sharon. Sharon has been training at TSC for 6+ months now. She puts 110% effort into all exercises and always has the drive & determination to smash those next PBs 💪.
- TSC Training Studios was nominated for Best Gym or Fitness Business in the Northants Life awards. Thank you to everyone who nominated my business - it really does mean a lot.
Looking forward to seeing what June has in store...

April - what a lovely month you’ve been🌻.
- We had our first mini social of the year. A nice 3.5 mile walk in the countryside sunshine, with a pub stop at the end (very British 😂)
- Introduced the 50 session milestone! Small gifts to recognise these have been ordered & will be shared with you soon 😉.
Our member shout-out this month goes to the incredible ! She has officially passed her 5-year mark of training at TSC. 5 whole years of dedication, sweat & smiles.
Ana has supported me from day one, witnessed our progression across all 3 studios and always gets involved in community events (discovered a new talent for axe throwing 😂).
Despite working crazy shifts as a Biomedical Scientist, she never lets her demanding career stop her training & often comes straight from a night shift, which is a true testament to her character. Over the last 5 years, we’ve worked hard on her strength, and she now easily deadlifts 80kg for reps 💪.
Ana is a lovely human being and a massive part of the TSC community. Thank you for supporting me and my business, it truly means the world to me. Obrigado, Ana!

Meet John, 82, who before Christmas came into the studio heavily reliant on a walking stick. That’s not how he walks in now.
In recent years, he’d been through two hip replacement surgeries. His most recent, he struggled to fully recover from.
A combination of the surgeries and older age had led to a loss of strength, muscle and mobility. And most importantly, he lost confidence with his daily movement.
So, we got to work with a carefully planned strength training programme in the studio. Every exercise modified to his body and ability.
Within just a few weeks, he was walking into the studio... without his stick. His confidence and strength started improving in every session 🙌.
Recently I sat down with John and heard all the positive changes this had made to his daily life. That’s the real win.
He’s now in the garden lifting 25kg compost bags up and down steps 💪. He used to struggle getting in and out of the car but he’s doing that more easily now. And, he’s now going on longer walks & enjoying them again.
A lot of these things we really take for granted. To hear these positive changes strength training is making is awesome.
John’s not stopping there. He’s keen to keep improving, and I believe he’s only just getting started at 82. As a beginner with resistance training, he’s got huge runway ahead of him. Well done John!
At TSC we’re helping lots of people in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s (John 🙌🏻) reverse and slow the effects of ageing through strength training.
It’s never too late to start.

First mini spring social 🌼 🌞
Great day on Saturday seeing some of our members outside the studio. A nice couple of hours strolling through Northamptonshire country side
Fortunately the weather held out & managed to enjoy a quick drink & snack outside - and we didn’t get lost!

Goodbye March... what a month you’ve been 🙌
- We’ve invested time & money into the studio. We’re completely changing the look & feel of the studio and bought new equipment meaning we can make the sessions even more effective & improve the overall flow . We’re so excited to reveal the finished look with you in a couple of weeks
- We welcome Chloe & Lauren to our 6 week kickstart 💚
- Attended mentoring to improve & better our abilities as coaches. A great chance to network with other coaches and implement new learnings. Everyday is a school day after all
- Our member shout out this month is John. At 86, he was finding daily tasks just that bit harder including general movement like getting in & out of the car.
Over these last few months we have worked on improving his mobility with tailored and bespoke exercises. John’s putting in the time & effort and showing up each week.
The result? John can now get in and out of the car without his stick! In his words “everything feels easier now”
We love helping our members achieve their goals, whether it be weight loss / toning up / improving mobility. But there is something extra special about John’s quote that warmed our hearts. This really is what it’s all about 💚

We’ll be honest…
Joining TSC probably isn’t for you if you want to be left alone to drift around a gym floor and make it up as you go.
But if you want to walk in, know exactly what you’re doing, get coached properly, and train in a space that feels supportive rather than intimidating, you’ll probably fit in really well here.
That’s exactly why a lot of our members joined in the first place 🙌
They didn’t want a packed gym where they had to wait to get on equipment.
They didn't want to risk training the wrong way or hurting themselves in front of all the regular gym goers.
They wanted something that felt more personal, more structured, and easier to stick to.

So, we’re starting a new monthly series reviewing the past month... 🗓️
As a business owner & head coach, it’s so rewarding for me to take time out and review all the great things that have happened.
Our members work so hard & achieve some pretty great results so why shouldn’t we shout about it? In a modest way of course 😉
Although February was a shorter month, it’s still been jam packed:
-We’ve seen a couple of our members reach the 100 session milestone mark 🤯👏
-We welcomed new members to our 6 week Kickstart 💚
-Our members, as always, continue putting 110% effort in. Showing up each week, ready to get stuck in.
-Lots of personal bests achieved. Check out Aash’s form & technique on her deadlift 💪
-As a coach, I practice what I preach. Investing time into my own personal training programme & spending time at fitness conferences. Geeking out on all things fitness so our members don’t have to 📋
And to round things off, take a read through some incredible quotes. Real life words of how people are finding the sessions and are improving each week.
The last slide is from a previous member who has trained at TSC for years. Many businesses wouldn’t dare talk about members leaving but this is really what it’s all about: achieving incredible results, long term health and feeling confident to fly the nest 😂.
