INTERS ROUND 3 LINEUP AT LLANDOW! 👏

We had multiple teams racing on Friday for the 3rd round of the inters championship. A big well done to everyone that raced on Friday, and congratulations to .79 for his first win in inters!

Some snaps of Sheffield’s qualifiers for BUKC 25/26!

It was overall a successful day for our drivers, with all 4 teams qualifying for a championship, as was the aim. Sheffield A placed 5th out of 45 teams on the day, comfortably in premier class with brilliant races all round (despite a last lap puncture for Adam!) making up for a more difficult qualifying. B team placed 31st despite their best efforts (but still qualifying for inters), with an exclusion and first lap incidents significantly undermining the pace we had in the team. C and D team did very well, with consistent results and the drivers keeping their nose clean to comfortably qualify for inters in 25th and 28th respectively.

Here is how Sheffield line up for it, with a lot of BUKC experience but also some new drivers joining us. We are confident all teams can qualify, and are looking to get at least two of them into mains.

2025 Rounds 3&4

A great day of racing at a sunny (for once!) Buckmore Park resulted in a Clubman round win for B team, and a race win for our Captain Adam!

Shoutout to Mikhai for a great performance in both races for A team, at a track he hadn’t been to before, and to Jacob for a brilliant 3rd which gave B team the round win in the afternoon.

Here are the our lineups as we make the trip down to Buckmore Park, Kent for the rounds 3 and 4.

A Team will be hoping for a cleaner day, and aim to give the great pace we know the drivers have some justice with good results.

Likewise, B Team have had very good results in the past at Buckmore, and will be looking to close the gap to the Clubmans leaders after a mixed opening day at PFi.

C Team are present for the first time in 2025 due to scheduling conflicts with the opening rounds, but are looking to put in a good showing with a strong lineup.

BUKC 2025 Round 1&2 - PFi:

BUKC Qualifiers 2024/25 ✅

A Team - Prems
A solid 6th overall on the day still under-sells the pace on display from our A team drivers - expect more to come throughout the season!

B Team - Clubmans
Clean, consistent drives across the board from our B team squad put them 10th on the day. Just missing out on prems, but in a perfect position to go for the Clubman title this year.

C Team - Clubmans
Brilliant effort from the C team to come 14th on the day, bouncing back from an unlucky start to qualify comfortably for mains.

D and E team finished 39th and 44th on the day, unfortunately missing out on inters, despite the best efforts of all drivers involved.

Still a positive day overall for Sheffield, getting 3 teams in mains is a great result and we look forward to the season proper getting underway at PFi in February! 💪🏎️

Here is the complete Sheffield lineup for today’s qualifiers. After a good season last year, we intend to start this year of BUKC the same way we did last year by getting as many teams into mains as possible. Many new faces across our teams and we look forward to starting the BUKC season 💪💪

After a hectic few weeks let’s look at how our teams got on at pfi and buckmore starting with the A team:

After a few disappointing results in the morning round at pfi, featuring some of our drivers getting taken out during races (and Adam doing some of the taking out himself😅), the team recovered well in the endurances with an overall P7 in round 2, featuring Callum and Adam going from finishing an amazing P2 after starting at the back.

Buckmore was more fruitful for the A team with a stellar performance from ami finishing P2 in her morning race and going from 29th to P13 in the afternoon. Alex also managed to come from the back of the grid finishing P14 in his race. Adam and callum also managed a P3 and P5 finish in their morning and afternoon races respectively with some impressive driving (or in some cases drifting) in very wet and greasy conditions.

The team managed a P7 in round 3 and P11 in round 4 - results which could have been much higher had Adam and Alex not suffered mechanical failures in one of their races throughout the day. This leaves the A team sat in P12 in the mains championship, looking to push themselves up the table at warden law next week! 🏁

A week after rounds one and two, here’s our line ups for rounds three and four at buckmore!

Our A team line ups remain unchanged and are looking to kick forward from a good round 2 in the enduros at pf.

B team also remains unchanged, and after having consistent results across the board from the first two rounds, sit nicely P4 in clubmans. A good result at buckmore could see them sneak in the top 3, which would be a mighty effort for their first time racing in mains!

C team have one change with holly coming in for her first round of the season. After getting some cracking results in inters last season, she’ll be looking to add to C teams strong start to their first mains campaign.

Finally Rahman and tymon make up the D team, looking to build up on their experience, having never raced at buckmore before in a BUKC race.
