Each golfer is different and whilst there are plenty of other great options for golfers your lower body training for golf definitely should includeโ€ฆ

โ€ข Heavy compound lower body strength moves
โ€ข Hops + jumps for explosiveness
โ€ข Single leg + multi plane work

If youโ€™re ticking off those 3 categories you probably wonโ€™t be going far wrong ๐Ÿ™Œ

Plenty of exercise options within those categories so you can pick ones that suit you, how you move, kit available etc ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Your โ€œcoreโ€ is always working hard in heavy compound moves but supplementing that a little with these kind of moves can also be a nice idea ๐Ÿ’ช

Although mobility work wonโ€™t directly impact your golf swing it can provide you with more options and give your coach a more pliable athlete to work with๐Ÿ‘Œ

A few mins daily mobility can be great for you both on and off the course and really complement your strength + power training too ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Especially important if youโ€™re someone who spends large chunks of your week sat behind a desk ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pick your level and spend 60 secs on each of these moves (30 each side if applicable) ๐Ÿ˜

Most golfers know by now how valuable med ball work can be when it comes to explosiveness ๐Ÿš€

If youโ€™re reps look like mine though then sadly you are leaving lots of potential transfer over to golf on the table ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

How we perform exercises may be even more important than the exercises we chose so if youโ€™re using slams in your training make sure they look a lot more like how Ella is performing them! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
