From now on men’s and women’s hockey will now be a joint sporting society in an effort to boost engagement and attendance. Both of our old societies will be working closely together to bring together mixed games, training sessions and socials.

WE’RE BACK!!

After a long year with no season due to Covid, the UON men’s hockey team are back!
We are looking for new players for our 2021/22 season. All abillities are welcome.

As well as training and games, we have a full social calendar including “socials” every Wednesday night. Fancy dress and games all night, not to be missed!!

Being a part of a social/sports team makes a huge difference to your uni life, having the support from other students and extra social events will enhance your time at the uni.

We will be attending the University of Northampton “Union day”, on Monday 27th of September so come down and meet the team to find out more!

Starting XI of our first game of the Uni year with a friendly against Northampton saints 3’s. Come along and support us at Molten gate 4. The game starts at 6:30

Its that time again! The lads are back in action at Home vs Warwick Men’s 4th. Pushback @4:30pm, make sure to come down to Moulton to watch the lads get back to winning ways and push for Promotion!

An unfortunate 3-2 loss earlier in the week vs Derby for the lads. With the squad feeling let down by some of the decisions within the game.

However, Thursday night presented an opportunity for one of our freshers .lawrie2 to take part in the Love Island charity event by Rounders. Cameron came out on top along with Liv Grey!

Last BUCS game of the year for the lads tonight, away vs Derby Men’s 1st. Looking to continue the league unbeaten and into the next year with our last two games!
