📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE – BRIDAL & WEDDING ALTERATION TERMS

I’m making a change to my terms and conditions for ALL bridal and wedding party alterations.

This applies to every bridal alteration, regardless of when the booking is made, including:
👰 Brides & wedding dresses
👗 Bridesmaids
🤵 Men’s suits
🌸 Mother of the Bride/Groom
💙 Father of the Bride/Groom
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Any other members of the wedding party
💷 £150 DEPOSIT

A minimum £150 deposit will be required when your item(s) are left with me for alterations.

Please note, this is not an additional charge. The £150 deposit will be deducted from your final alteration balance, so it goes towards the cost of your alterations.

📅 COLLECTION OF FINISHED ITEMS
Once I have notified you that your alteration(s) are complete, the item(s) must be collected within 2 weeks.

If the item(s) have not been collected within 2 weeks of being notified that they are ready, and no alternative arrangement has been agreed with me, the £150 deposit will become non-refundable.

I will then reserve the right to assume ownership of the uncollected item(s) and may attempt to sell them to recover costs incurred for the alteration work.

I completely understand that circumstances can change and that sometimes things happen that are outside of your control.

Communication is key — if you are unable to collect your item within the 2-week period, please contact me so we can discuss an alternative arrangement.

This change is simply to protect the time, work and costs involved in carrying out specialist bridal and formalwear alterations.

These terms will apply to all new bridal and wedding party alteration bookings with immediate effect.

A beautiful Karen Millen dress 👗 for the Premier of the new rise of the foot solider retribution film at Leicester Square.

This dress was so heavy with all the beads, it was too long so I needed to shorten it by cutting off the excess fabric and removing all the beaded tassles to make it even. (It was alot of beads)

I think you'll agree she looked absolutely stunning 😍

I hope she enjoyed her night on the red carpet

Another beautiful wedding dress, this gown was a last minute alteration for her wedding in Cyprus 🇨🇾 (photos taken before alterations)

I shortened it (7 layers) and altered the corset by taking it in slightly, as it was a beaded bodice the beads had to be re sown by hand back onto the dress once it was taken in.

The bride 👰‍♂ to be looked stunning and I hope she had a special day in the sun in Cyprus 🇨🇾

Beautiful wedding dress, shortened in July, I also shortened the straps slightly and added a bustle aswell.

There were 9 layers to this dress, photos dont do it justice as it was a super sparkly skirt as well as the corset.

I hope she had the most fantastic day

Friends son is about to start secondary school, he needs a clip on tie 👔 which school dont do, so after a quick you tube watch and some practice ties, he now has 2 clip on ties ready for September.

Beautiful Yumi jumpsuit, altered for a wedding, it needed lifting at the shoulders, shortening as it was miles to long and the legs tapering.

It was a pleasure to do, and hope she felt fabulous wearing it!!

Im back off my holiday now, still taking things slow though, I am taking on alterations just being selective on what I take on, so please message me if you need anything doing.

Hey everyone,
I will he taking a little break from doing alterations, due to a family bereavement, I go away for a week soon and will only be taking on a limited amount of repairs once im back to give myself some time to recharge.
Im sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope you all understand.

Ive made a pair of shorts 🩳

Just got to pop the elastic in and sew the hem, ill be wearing them tomorrow!!

2 more bridesmaids dresses completed and collected today

One was just shortening as it was really long and the 2nd was shortening at the front only and removing the concealed zip, putting it back in lower down and creating a "V" at the back.

Hope they have a fabulous time at the wedding

One of todays many jobs was sewing this strap back onto the bag by hand, tough work on your hands, as material is so thick.

Hopefully it lasts her a little while longer now fingers 🤞
