Another proud moment in my life, which again is associated with the successful undertaking and completion of the epic worlds longest paddle race, The in July 2023 with racing partner - was also to have collaboratively designed the board which we used during this life changing adventure…!
:
It’s not everyday you get the opportunity to design and indeed test in a real world setting a new concept of a fast touring and adventure racing SUP board, which is tough and hardy enough to carry nearly 40kgs of expedition equipment, and fast and reliable enough to take deep into one of the last frontiers and one of the most remotest places left on the planet - 1000 miles along The Yukon River from Whitehorse in Canada, through to The Dalton Highway Bridge, deep in the Arctic Circle, Alaska.
:
It is with great pride and pleasure that the board which I designed especially for the Yukon1000 race has now been made into a reality and is ready for everyone to purchase, rise and experience by the wonderful ..!
:
From an initial phone call to Andy at to a journey that changed lives and perspectives, through to a board after a few design tweaks can now be bought by everyone for them to take on their very own adventures….!
:
Be it 1000miles in the Arctic Circle, or an overnighter on a local lake - the new ‘Yukon’ adventure board is now fully born and ready to take you on your very own adventure…!
:
Thank you for making life changing adventure possible - for everyone….!

The Moosers would like to make a formal apology…..
We’d like to say we’re very very sorry for secretly stashing away in our checked baggage on our flight back from Fairbanks, Alaska after successfully completing the Yukon 1000 Canoe Race - one of these cheeky little rascals….!
Sorry also to the fisherman of the Norfolk Broads - it’s going to be slim pickings from now on…. 🤣

So thankful to Dan and Nick from for sending thorough these awesome commemorative patches of our recent finish…
:
When we first got them we were totally stoked but puzzled as where to put them…then I saw my and ‘bingo’……!!!
:
Sadly the was a little too big to transport the 1000 miles on the SUP - however, now the good old weather is starting to turn, I’m sure I’ll be seeing more of these fantastic little reminders of the most magnificent adventure….!
