This International Women's Day we wanted to mark the day especially in two ways.

(1) The first is to say a big thank you to the women who contribute multiple hours to the community through their teaching, practice time, personal development and growth:

The Norwich Latin Dance team:

The Bacha-Chicas Academy team:
Hannah, Diana, Greta, Marwa

The Strictly Salsa Norwich team:
Ami, Diana, Marwa

As well as all our students who make the community a warm and welcoming place

(2) The second is to note that we are currently fundraising for the Mariposa DR Foundation, whose initiatives in the Dominican Republic for improving education and ending generational poverty for young girls ties in really nicely with both International Women's Day as a concept and also the theme for this year which is 'Give to Gain'.

We already donated a portion of class profits to the cause on the Independence day for the Dominican Republic, and will also do something later this month to fundraise, but for now, if you would like to donate the cost of a fancy coffee, this will really help boost the impact.

ONE DAY TO GO!!!

Dance Ignite Norwich is tomorrow and we are gearing up for an incredible six hours of classes from multiple genres and guest teachers!

The schedule has already been released and the lineup is beautiful!

The day ends with a community dance hour, filled with line ups for anyone who would like to run one and an open floor space for anyone who would like to share a creative performance, whether that is freestyle of choreographed.
