Felthorpe Recreation Ground Committee

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the fabulous Sophie Pinsent for joining us at our little village hall last night and keeping everyone entertained all evening — from getting people up dancing to taking our song requests 😁 (and, of course, for being a fantastic singer too!).

A big thank you as well to Wolfy’s Coffee Shop for serving up amazing nachos, hot dogs and burgers — everything was delicious! We really appreciated you being there 😊

And finally, thank you to everyone who came along last night. We hope you had a great time, and we truly appreciate all your support ✨ We even managed to make a small profit — and, to quote Tesco, “every little helps”!!

We're looking forward to attending Felthorpe Village Hall on Saturday evening with our pop-up food stall!

We'll be set up from 6.30pm offering our loaded nachos, burgers, hot dogs & BBQ pulled pork rolls.

What's more, the wonderful Sophie Pinset will be providing live music from 8.30pm.

Tickets are just £6 and can be bought on the door.

If you fancy an evening of good music and tasty food, come and join us there!

⭐️ 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌 ⭐️

This Thursday at 7:30pm we’ll be holding our Annual General Meeting. This is where we elect committee roles, look back on the past 12 months, and start planning for the year ahead. The regular committee meeting will follow after the AGM (at approx 7:50pm).

We’d really love to welcome some new faces from the community to join the committee — bringing fresh ideas and helping to future-proof the village hall, recreation ground, and play areas so they can continue to be enjoyed by everyone for years to come.

Without a recreation ground committee, there is a very real risk that we could lose control over what happens to the land and pavilion building — and that would be such a shame for the village. So please come along and get involved 😁

The wonderful Sophie Pinsent will be joining us, singing a fantastic variety of songs guaranteed to get everyone up dancing. So dig out your gladrags and come along for a fun night of music, dancing, and laughter 🤭

Tickets are just £6 — which nowadays is about the price of a pint… or 17 Freddos! You certainly can’t get much for £6 these days, so you may as well come out for a dance and a giggle instead!

🌮 Wolfys Cafe will also be there serving up their amazing loaded nachos, so come hungry too!
