11/10/2026

We're through to the 3rd round of the 4Trophy Cup🙌✅️💪⚽️

A tough watch first half more hard work was going to be needed in the second half.
Half time 2-1 'Winch'

A few strong words at half time and we came out fighting.
Scoring quickly we looked better, only for Winch to score again 🤦‍♂️
Another goal for the Hurricanes and there was no looking back from that point 💚💪

The never give up attitude was definatly on display today......well done team 💚

**This is why grassroots football matters.** ⚽💚

Of course, they’re learning how to play football.

But look at everything else they’re learning along the way.

How to be part of a team.
How to make friends.
How to win without getting carried away.
How to lose and come back next week.
How to make mistakes and keep going.
How to support somebody having a tough day.
How to belong.

Most won’t remember the score from this weekend.

Some won’t even remember who scored.

But they might remember **the mates standing beside them for the rest of their lives.**

Football gives them a ball to chase.

**Grassroots gives them so much more.** 💚⚽

The most frustrating game of the season so far 🙈

To come away with a loss of 3-2 is a hard one to take, especially with all the chances we created .

The team battled hard with some very neat passing and moving off the ball, which was great to watch, but if we dont finish the chances this is what happens.
Half Time 2-0 Cringlford.

Second half was a tense 35 mins for everyone. The Hurricanes fought for every ball, upped the work rate and displayed some brilliant ball work. Together they managed to pull 2 goals back 💪⚽️,
Cringleford ended up with 5 playing at the back, but we didn't have enough time to make it a draw 🤦‍♂️
