We are in the process of sending out emails about our next steps with the swim school in these uncertain times. The first batch went out today and we will be sending the rest in the next few days.

We are still following the government Coronavirus guidelines with regards to social distancing.

We are waiting for the government to hopefully reveal its exit strategy on Sunday and will let you know our next steps once this has been released. We will also keep you updated with information from the Thorpe and Sprowston schools with what they are expecting from us as hirers.

We are also in the process of getting ideas together for swimming over the summer holidays at the Hewett Academy pool.

All swimmers should of received an email about the pool closures. If you haven't had one please get in touch at [email protected].
We have now had to stop all swimming lessons so there are no sessions this weekend.

Unfortunately due to staff shortage we cannot run lessons tonight at Thorpe. Our lessons are still happening at Hewett so if you would like to move your swimmers temporarily to Hewett then please get in touch with us and we can let you know where the spaces are.

We have received an email from Sprowston Community Academy in the last hour saying they are closing their pool with immediate effect. So if swimmers at Sprowston are happy to come to the Hewett then please also get in touch.

We will carry on with lessons at the Hewett for as long as we can. We carried out a deep clean yesterday and are making sure door handles etc are sanitised as much as possible.

This is written for the Hewett pool as we run this venue and Toby is the Pool Manager but with regards to Sprowston and Thorpe we will be following the individual schools guidelines.

Please still ensure that swimmers take showers before swimming and also please stay away if you are ill.

Lessons are now an hour long for the same price of £3 a lesson

If you are already booked in please come to the lessons on the hour rather than at half past.

We are looking for swimmers for the Level 1 Swimming Assistants course running over at the Hewett over February half term. We need swimmers who swim in the shallow and middle of the pool.
