The student portal has had a big update, making it easier to find what you need and get in touch with us.
New address: student.norwichkungfuacademy.com
This is now the only student portal — the old one is switched off. Delete any old shortcut from your Home Screen and add the new one below.
If you have more than one child training with us, you'll get a separate email for each — that's normal, not a duplicate.
You can now:
- Add the portal to your Home Screen (iPhone and Android) and turn on notifications
- See upcoming gradings and events, and track attendance/grading progress
- Request and manage 1-2-1 sessions
- See and manage payments for membership and other purchases
- Update personal, emergency contact and medical details
- See and change your training plan
- Buy equipment through the new shop
To get set up:
1. Go to student.norwichkungfuacademy.com
2. Check your inbox for a separate email with your username and temporary password. Log in with these (no need for "forgot password").
3. You'll be taken to a change password screen — set your new password.
4. Next, complete registration by filling in the waivers you signed when you joined, then press complete registration.
5. Add the site to your Home Screen (delete the old shortcut first):
iPhone: Tap Share in the address bar → "View More" → "Add to Home Screen" → rename if you like → "Add".
Android: Tap Chrome's install banner if shown, or tap ⋮ → "Add to home screen" → "Install" → confirm.
6. Go to accounts -> notifications and turn them on for last-minute updates
7. Explore the new features
Linking multiple accounts:
1. Log in
2. Go to accounts -> linked accounts
3. Enter the username to invite
4. They accept via their email
5. Switch between accounts from this area
Your username and temporary password are in a separate email — check your inbox and log in to set your new password.

Jessopp Road floor upgrade and temporary venue changes

Some long-awaited good news: the floor at Jessopp Road is finally being upgraded, which will really improve our training space.

The catch is that the work falls during our first week back after the summer break, and possibly into the second week too.

Here's how things will run while it's being done:

Regular classes carry on as normal at Clover Hill. We'll cover at least one session for every level except Foundation.

Foundation group: I've booked extra sessions at Clover Hill on Monday 3rd and Monday 10th August at 7:30 PM so you don't miss out.

If you can't get to Clover Hill, you're welcome to double up on sessions at Jessopp Road later in the module.

Please get to the Clover Hill sessions if you can. Looking forward to seeing you after our summer break, we will reopen Monday 3rd August, however due to the reasons stated above Jessopp road facility will be shut for a minimum of time of a 7 days, possibly extending to 14 days.
