My second completed and it is such a great event! Finished with a time of 46.21 which wasn't quite what I was hoping for but a good time nonetheless! Congratulations to everyone who took part. Time to get training for next year!!

The training has started for this years 10k.
-
2 runs in and I'm starting to get back into the swing of running after a 4 month lay off concentrating on strength training.
-
All the time spent in the gym over the winter and my continued strength training will be keeping me injury free and keep me improving as I train for a better time than 2018.
-
Running will always be a supplement to my strength training but one I always enjoy when it's time to lace up the runners!
-
If your running or any race this year make sure you're getting in the gym and adding some strength training to your program.
This doesn't neccessarily mean training with a barbell or dumbbell and can be some bodyweight exercises that complement your training. My friends recently put out a blog post for all about it. Go check it out on the Run Norwich website.

Getting in the work on the second PUSH day of the week on my new 6 x per week PUSH, PULL, LOWER program.

If you didn't know, I've released a 3 x per week version of my current training program that is FREE to download http://bit.ly/yourfreeprogram

Suitable for men and women this program will help you add lean tissue to your frame and focus on consistent progression over time.

You also get access to my dedicated training app and video demonstrations and descriptions of each exercise.

I'm thinking of adding my full 6 x per week program to my list of FREE programs, who would be interested in this? Drop me a DM or comment below.

122 workouts in 120 Days!

I set myself a challenge for 2018 to workout every single day and so far so good (and twice I've managed 2 workouts in 1 day). At first it was tough to 'find the time' but now it's a part of my every day routine.

I removed my need to have a perfect workout under the perfect conditions and set my self up to exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes a day no matter what.

Even when I'm tired, it's at the end of a busy day or I'm ready to crush a workout, the goal remains the same, consistency!!

This is probably the best relationship I've had with exercise in a long time and I'm looking forward to the next 245 workouts!!

Set a goal
Write it down
Give yourself a time frame
Execute
