🥈 SILVER MEDALISTS! 🦁🔥
The lads came home with a Silver Medal from our first ever The GG3x3 tournament! 🏀🥈
And what a journey it was…
🏀 Norwich Lions 18–10 Phoenix 3x3
🏀 Norwich Lions 7–6 The Oversleepers
🏀 Norwich Lions 21–9 Hemel Sharks
🏀 Norwich Lions 14–9 Huskies
❌ Norwich Lions 9–16 Team Butter
🏆 Norwich Lions 13–10 3 Spears — Quarter-Final
🏆 Norwich Lions 16–12 Problem Solvers — Semi-Final
🥈 Norwich Lions 10–18 Team Butter — Final
6 wins? Actually, we finished 6-2, with our two losses coming against the same team Team Butter. 👏
And honestly, that’s something we can take a lot of pride in.
We beat the teams we should beat, but we also took down teams that, on paper, we probably weren’t expected to beat. 💪👀
Unfortunately, Team Butter had our number on the day and fair play to them. They were the best team of the tournament and deserved the gold. 🏆👏
But losing twice to the same team doesn’t take away from what the lads achieved.
First The GG3x3 tournament. First experience. Silver medal. 🥈
We were right up there and now we know exactly what we need to work on to go one better next time. 🦁🔥
