Unfortunately the second team game this weekend Saturday 25th of July away to Diss has been called off.

A great evening at home for KHCC as we booked our place in the Plate semi-finals with a win over Horsford!

A fantastic all-round performance in the field saw the team take 8 wickets across the innings, with some excellent bowling, sharp wicketkeeping and disciplined fielding throughout. 💪

A huge thank you to our umpires, scorer and everyone who came along to support us. It really is appreciated.

Well done, team! On to the semi-finals! 🦁🏏

Hi All,
Thanks to everyone for the amazing turnout last Wednesday! It was absolutely lovely to see so many youngsters enjoying the surroundings at Ketteringham Hall CC.
📅All Stars and Dynamos Update : Next Week & Half-Term A very large number of parents and helpers have made me aware that they will be away next week for the half-term school holidays. As such, I think it’s probably sensible to cancel next week's session (Wednesday, 27th May) and extend our run by a further week in the summer instead.

Therefore, our next session will take place on Wednesday, 3rd June.
Thank you all for your understanding.

🏆 Festival Invitation: Sunday, 31st May (2 PM at Great Melton CC) In other news, we have been invited to an informal cricket festival to play some matches against a few local teams next weekend!
Here are the key details:
Format: Likely 6-a-side on a small pitch.
Cost: Completely free! It's purely for fun and to give the youngsters some great experience with inter-club games.
The Vibe: There is a strong emphasis on taking part and the true spirit of cricket rather than fierce competitiveness.
Age Groups: The main category is Under 9s, but these festivals are normally fairly easy-going. Being a year or so over usually isn't a problem, as the main goal is just to get some fun games going.
🏏 Future Under 11s Festivals We are also looking for Under 11s players to take part in similar festivals in the near future the format for these will likely be 8 a side.
What to do next: If your child is interested in taking part in the U9 festival this Sunday, please let me know by text on 07786164809 and I will start putting together an Under 9s WhatsApp group for communications.

Similarly, if you have an Under 11 child who would be happy to be considered for future festivals, please drop me a text to let me know.

Adult Training
And Finally a lot of the parents have shown an interest in getting back in to adult cricket. We currently run a ladies softball team and two senior hardball league teams on a Saturday. Men's training sessions normally take place in the net on Wednesday evenings please let me know by dropping me a text (07786164809) if you would like to join in we can provide equipment but you will need to bring your own cricket "box" !

Disappointing defeat away at Swardeston & Great Melton Ladies CC tonight in our league match. They were a great batting side and definitely showed us a thing or two… think we might need to take up hockey as a winter sport after that one 😂🏏🏑

Plenty of positives for us too though, with some brilliant stops and saves on the boundary! 🦁

Unfortunately tonights first session of all stars and Dynamos will be cancelled due to the weather and the amount of rain that has already landed. at this age the children will be slipping over and the last thing we want is for anyone to get hurt on wet grass. the forecast for the rest of the evening is not much better

🏏 Yesterday evening KHCC Ladies played their second league match and first away game of the season against Norwich Bystanders.

After a hard-fought game, they were narrowly defeated by just one run! 💔🦁
