To everyone at Eaton GC, it’s with a heavy heart that today after 4 1/2 years, I’m announcing that I will be leaving the club to take the next step in my career as Golf Manager at Diss Golf Club on September 18th

I’ve had an amazing time here and would like to thank all the members and staff for making me feel apart of this great club, with you I found my love for golf again.

My biggest highlight is representing the club and winning the East Anglian Open Championship last year but equally within the club helping set up the Ladies Charter, being junior organiser, coaching so many of the members and most of all, organising & running the Melanoma Uk golf charity days.

I’d like to thank all the members who trusted me with there games, wether it was just advice in the pro shop or with your swings in a lesson, I always have 100% to ensure you were given the best service.

To Mark, Sharon and Chase thank you for everything, these last few years have gone by so fast and we’ve had such a good laugh throughout it.

To Mark especially, thank you for taking me on to work for you and trusting I can do a good job for you.

I will miss you all

Melanoma Uk Charity Golf Day

Such an amazing day here at Eaton GC for the Melanoma Charity Day, where we raised just over £8000!

So many people to thank for today: - Eaton GC for letting us host the day again

- Meghan & Demi & Evans / Rowswell family and friends for decorating and the raffle

- Rob and his greens staff for an amazing course set up

- The bar and kitchen staff for looking after us

- Keith Cross for being our Auctioneer

- Sarah and Neil working behind the scenes

- Club Captain Rudi for helping with prize giving

- for just being chase lol

- All the golf clubs that donated 4ball vouchers for our auction

- Every who sponsored a hole

- for an amazing prize table

- Marc Moncrieff & his staff for N&N for attending and giving everyone advise on Melanoma

All the members and visitors that played today, you have made it a great day with your generosity and I cannot thank everybody enough.

Great turnout today to applaud our Eaton Club Champions for 2023, after a week of competition to find our titleholders.
🏆 Iain Reid, left, completed an impressive double today, winning the men’s scratch championship to add to the senior scratch title he claimed earlier in the week.
🏆James Lazzari, right, won the men’s handicap title and was runner-up in the scratch.
🏆 Tom Parkinson, third left, won the seniors’ handicap championship.
🏆 Quin Monaghan, second left, pulled off another double, capturing both the junior scratch and handicap titles.
🏆 Sharon Allen, third right, is the ladies’ scratch champion
🏆 Kari Joyce,second right, won the ladies’ handicap championship

A huge thank you to the members of Eaton Golf Club today who played in the Melanoma Texas Scramble.

With Entries, half way house donations and raffle tickets sold, we raised over £1000 which is amazing.

The great weather brought out 25 teams and some great scores, but in the end we had a tie for 1st on nett 50 (-20) with Gill / Lionel Levinson & Carol / Kevin Cooper winning on countback from Colin Norris, Steve Hill, Neil Augustin & Neil Harrison (who shot an impressive -16 gross)

Myself, Wendy & Stan would like to thank Eaton GC, it’s members and it’s staff for supporting this great cause and thank you for your ongoing support ⛳️

We now look forward to the 11th August for our main Charity day supporting Melanoma Uk 🟣

Amazing News!

Myself, Chloe, Wendy and Stan are proud to let everyone know that this week the Horus Body Mapping Unit has been delivered to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
With July being the plan for the unit to be up and running.

We would all like to thank everyone who supported and kindly donated to this great cause.

We hope you’ll be able to keep supporting us this year and the future as we continue our journey to raise awareness of Melanoma Cancer
