A sunny but crisp morning was in store for the Tigers who were looking to build on their impressive win last week. A tight first half saw the Tigers hit the post and pose plenty of problems for the opposition with pace and directness on the wings. Our centre backs were first to every ball not letting it bounce to s***f out their promising attacks. The temperature dropped in the second half and the Tigers had to defend well with the midfield pair sitting in more, chances were hard to create and the boys found themselves under the cosh with the keeper being called into operation. A free kick floated over the defenders and bounced past the stranded keeper to make the score 1-0 to the opponents. A late rally by our quick strikers nearly nicked an equaliser for the Tigers but was not to be against a very good side. Good luck to them in the semis next week.
The fans were great and the boys battled hard showing what fantastic team spirit they have - Onto the next game! Thanks to our sponsors …

Away game today for the boys in North Norfolk with a small squad of only 10 boys.
The sun was out, and the wind swirling around as the boys kicked off looking for a confidence booster before the cup Quarter Finals next weekend.
As both teams battled to get to grips with the wind, the boys managed to make their early dominance count with the first goal as our right wing back tapped home having run the length of the pitch. The second came soon after with our speedy strikers combing to slot home.
The boys went in with the lead looking comfortable.
The second half got underway and the boys hadn’t adjusted to the change of ends and the crazy wind and the opposition pulled one back.
That got the boys focused again and one of our strikers stepped up to bag a hatrick to take the game away from the opposition. A debatable penalty allowed the opposition to pull one back but the game was already out of sight. The boys looked in good nick, ready for a good battle next weekend in the cup.
Players of the match were our striker for bagging a hatrick and our rock at the back for another solid battling display. Onwards and upwards for the tigers 😀

The League stage of the cup has been completed, so we move our attention to development games against the big boys for the next few games.
Today we faced a regular top opponent that we have consistently improved against, but never managed to get a result.
The boys were apprehensive but ready to give it the best they could.
A well contested first half saw both teams struggle to get any momentum on a heavy pitch. The odd link up and through ball troubled their defence, and our boys at the back were handling everything coming their way.
Midfield committing to their positions made us difficult to break down, but perhaps hindered our forward options.
One positive bit of play saw a ball come in from wide, where our pacey winger timed his run perfectly and slotted in off the post. The boys remained strong and went in ahead at half time.
2nd half was much the same. Knowing the opposition were bound to come out strong, we knew to control the space was to control the game.
With both teams playing well, chances at both ends came and went until they managed to make some pressure count. All even.
With 15 mins to go the Tigers dug in to get a result. Woodwork hit at both ends, and a last second chance not converted meant honours even at the final whistle.
A brilliant result for our boys who are improving all the time.
A fair result for two great little teams that are sure to meet again soon.
Thanks for hosting, well done to all 👏👏👏🐯🐯🐯

In much warmer conditions the boys took to the field keen to build on last week’s success. A dominant first half saw our pacy striker through in goal, taking a really positive first touch and tucking it past the keeper to make it 1-0. A carbon copy of the goal came about in the second half with the instrumental centre mid pulling the strings. Defence were on top with wing backs winning duels against their opponents. A succession of close shots, one that crashed against the bar and a long range strike that would have capped a fine hatrick came and went. A cracking volley from the other striker sealed the points before the opposition pulled one back at the end, but the game was done by then!
All the boys worked so hard for each other and deserved their victory. Nice for the parents to watch in better conditions and a huge thanks to our sponsors Mortgage Finance Boutique Sefftons Estate Agents

This Sunday took us to Aylsham to play a home game on 3G. The weather was as appalling, absolutely freezing. Both teams looked eager to get under way to keep warm and the tigers had the opposition on the back foot from the get go.
A few chances came and went, we thundered one against the cross bar, and then our striker picked up a through ball and slotted home.
The boys then seemed to slow down, and following an opposition corner which slammed the cross bar, they picked up the second ball and drew level.
The opposition then went down to 8 men with no subs, and from a cross which we failed to deal with they took the lead.
All to play for in the second half.
The boys were on top but not creating many clear cut chances. We were struggling to dominate the middle of the park against big opposition midfielders.
Eventually we broke down the wing, crossed the ball in and our CAM slotted home.
Chances came and went and with the clock ticking down another cross from the other wing was eventually tucked home to give the boys a deserved win.
Horrible conditions but the boys dug in and got what they deserved. Centre mid and centre back got players of the match this weekend for strong, combative performances. Well done tigers 🐯

On a lovely sunny morning, the Tigers enjoyed a competitive and entertaining friendly against the U12s in perfect footballing conditions. Both teams started brightly, moving the ball well and showing great enthusiasm from the first whistle.
Chances came at both ends, with strong defending and some good goalkeeping, the opposition managing to squeeze one in before the whistle for half time.
After the break, the game remained evenly balanced, with plenty of effort, teamwork, and positive play on display. Tigers possibly edging it, we managed to get ourselves level.
Some great footwork up top lead to a clear penalty which we couldn’t convert.
The match ended in a well-deserved draw, a fair result after a spirited performance from everyone involved. A great morning of football played in the right spirit.
(Tigers clear winners in friendly penos at the end)
Thanks Leopards! Good luck for the rest of the season..

On a sharp crisp morning the boys attempted to pick where they left off last week after a fine victory. Right from the start the kick off found its way straight to the winger who nearly scored inside 10 seconds! With the midfield on top and defence solid, good chances came thick and fast for the tigers but we found the opposition keeper in the form of his life and when the winger did put away one of our 4 or 5 good chances the Tigers thought we would run riot! Not to be, levels dropped off and the opposition came into the match rounding us and driving into the box to fall over a stray leg - penalty. Keeper guessed right but the power took the ball in for 1-1 at half time.
Chances for both sides in the second half and injuries forced a couple of substitutions, but the passing game from the week before evaded us and they snatched a breakaway goal at the end to dent our chances of qualification to the knockout stages. The boys worked hard until the last whistle and were disappointed with the result after such domination in the first half. Never mind we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and look to bounce back next week against the older lot!
Congrats to players of the match who played in different positions and were a constant threat.
Thanks again to parents, the ref and our sponsors as always
