W/c 25th of May:
I’m () absent this week with coaching commitments elsewhere, so it’ll be open gates wednesday and saturday👍
Wednesday gates will likely not be set up until 6.30 due to limited volunteer availability, and support with setting up and packing away is appreciated as always…
Saturday open gates, regular start time between 10-10.30 as usual but may need to stop earlier in the afternoon, again due to volunteer availability.

Well done and many thanks to the volunteers who spent close to 4 hours post-coaching today resurfacing primarily the last straight, but also plugging some ruts and giving the track a good sweep!
We made the track not only faster but also safer for all who ride it. Please treat it with the same respect🙏
While the track work was adult-led, it was mega to see lots of our younger riders getting involved and streamlining the operation. Whether you were collecting material, marshalling the track or sweeping some straights - it was all appreciated🫶
Please be mindful when riding the track over the next few days as it may still be soft in places. And save your skids for the finish line!!!

🚨SATURDAY PLAN🚨
Something different going on on saturday afternoon, so just giving an early heads up!
The morning will run as normal, novice/intermediate coaching 10.00-11.00, with expert coaching 10.30-12.00
After coaching, we’ll have the gate running for a little while of open gates with all welcome.
However, once coaching has finished, the track maintenance team will be making a start to repairs and resurfacing across the whole track. Certain areas of the track may be off-limits while we do this, so that we can do it properly and uninterrupted.
While this track maintenance is going on, no non-bmxers will be allowed on the track👍
Hope all makes sense, see you tomorrow for open gates and saturday for coaching!

Come join us, every week from 6.30 latest, until dark. Open to riders of all clubs, and newer riders looking to start their bmx journey in a friendly environment, with coach and experienced member presence.

Our BMX legend Iain Milne in his 1980's Retro Robinson factory top he wore at the Nationals this weekend. Unbelievably last worn when he was 15!!!
