Having secured their place at the top of division 4 with a home win against Caldecott Hall today, the team can look forward to matches in division 3 next year. This evening England golfer, Nellie Ong returned to Eaton to talk to members about her stellar year on the amateur circuit. She shared her joy of qualifying for the US Open and Curtis Cup, being starstruck in the locker room and the luxury of complimentary manicures and hair styling! Nellie also talked of the pressure of first tee nerves, handling disappointment and addressing weaknesses with hours of practice. It was a fascinating and enormously enjoyable evening and we all wish her well as she returns to Ohio for the remaining tournaments of the season and to her degree studies.

Harry Thomas produces birdie blitz to progress in Boys' Amateur Harry Thomas progressed through the opening match play round in the Boys’ Amateur Championship with a 6&5 victory over highly rated American Clint Lewis.
