Well done Julia.

🏆 MASTERS MUG WINNER — JULIA MONCRIEFF! 🏆

What a season for Julia! 🎉

Today Julia won the Masters Mug, one of Eaton’s most prestigious mixed medal competitions, played at the end of the season.

Qualification is highly competitive, with the field restricted to the defending holder, divisional Monthly Medals, Stablefords and individual trophy winners, plus the top Order of Merit players who have not already qualified.

Julia has already had an incredible year, already having won the Eaton Cup, our Ladies’ knockout competition for the winners of the previous year’s medals.

Even more special is that Julia is one of our Eaton Women’s Academy graduates and gives back to the club as our Ladies’ Committee Secretary. 💙

🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ The inaugural Eaton NHS v Members match! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Today, our fabulous current and retired NHS members took on Eaton Club members in a fun Greensomes match play event — and what a great day it was!

A huge thank you to everyone who played, and especially to those who stepped in at the last minute to make sure the NHS team could field a full side. 👏

Many thanks to Bill for sorting all the cards, and to Kate and her team for the wonderful catering — and for getting fully into the spirit of the event with some fantastic dressing up! Thanks to Jill for providing the half way house and managing it all.

And a special well done to Maurice and Bhim for all their hard work in getting this inaugural event off the ground.

🏆 An honourable draw this year!

It looks like another Eaton annual tradition has been started. See you all again in 2027! 🎉

🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ That’s a wrap on the 2026 Mixed Friendly season! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Today, 56 golfers came together at Eaton for our end-of-season friendly match. Thankfully, the rain stopped just in time, leaving us with a fantastic afternoon of golf. The grass is certainly enjoying all the recent rain and is growing beautifully!

Back in the clubhouse, Kate and her team provided a fabulous BBQ, and the clubhouse was buzzing with laughter, conversation and plenty of tales from the season.

Congratulations to our competition winners:

🏆 1st: Bridget and Barry Whelan
🥈 2nd: Kay and Tony Bailey
🥉 3rd: Selina and Phillip Mullen
4️⃣ 4th: Carol and Kevin Cooper
5️⃣ 5th: Paula and Bill Ottaway

Nearest the Pin winners were April Cooper and Chris Lockhart.

A huge thank you to Bill and Paula Ottaway for their fantastic organisation throughout the season. The mixed friendly teams have gone from strength to strength, and their hard work has made such a difference.

At the end of dinner today, we were delighted to present Bill and Paula with Eaton logo tops, ready for the 2027 season, together with a voucher, as a small token of our appreciation.

This really is a fabulous group of golfers and a wonderful credit to Eaton Golf Club. Thank you all for making the mixed friendlies such an enjoyable and successful part of our golfing calendar.

Here’s to 2027! ⛳️
