Fantastic day out at the seaside once again for the society!😎
Superbly looked after by all at Gorleston Golf Club, delicious breakfast before play on another perfect day for golf!
Winner on the day was Mr Consistent Neil Dade with 39 pts - on countback from unlucky Ade Pope & Guest Ian Evans.
Team event went to Skip John Milton’s quartet including Steve Lefevre,Neil Batchelor & newbie Woody Loines!
Next up is Felixstowe Ferry in a couple of weeks - let’s hope we get another sunny day on the seaside! 🤞🏻😎⛳️🍻

Fantastic first time out for the Society at Kings Lynn Golf Club. Course was in super nick and so was the weather!! 😎
Congratulations to our individual winner James Crosby with a solid 37 points and was also in the winning team with “albatross” runner up Gary Dixon,Mike Riches & Ken Jennings.
For the 1st time in our 25 year history we had 3 different 2’s! Gary Dixon with an albatross on the par 5 10th, Stephen Gibling with an eagle on the par 4 6th & Kevin Baker with a birdie on the par 3 16th!! Well done guys!! 👌🏻👏🏻
Thanks to our host and main sponsor John Brighton for his excellent hospitality and prizes! I think all had a great day! I’m sure we will definitely be back and hopefully next year!🤞🏻

Great day out again at Sheringham Golf Club for the Society. Despite the difficult playing conditions there was some very good scoring!
Pairs Cup winners were Michael Ollerton & John Murrell with a Betterball score of 47pts with reigning champions Skipper John Milton & James Crosby in 2nd on 44pts. Individual winner was Graham Knights on countback over Alan Robb with an excellent 39pts.
Thanks to the club for their great hospitality throughout the day and we could not fault the conditions and the impressive improvements to the course! 👌🏻
Next up is Kings Lynn at the end of April. Until then keep enjoying your golf with a smile. 😊⛳️🍻

This Friday we tee it up for the 1st event of our 2026 golfing year! It’s also our 25th Anniversary, so what better place to start than at Bungay & Waveney Golf Club. 😃
Lots of excellent course improvement work been done at the club - including the new look par 3 4th hole below!! 🤩
We look forward to seeing you all there for a scrumptious “fry up”before play! 😋

Lovely day out for the Society at the Super Swaffham Golf Club last Friday in the sunshine!😎 Congratulations to Neil Batchelor who won the scratch prize with a solid 84 over John Russen on countback! Well played Neil, it was a privilege to witness your round! 👏🏻👏🏻

Great 1st weekend away with the Oasis & Mags Society boys! Again we were blessed with beautiful spring sunshine!
Our weekend winner was the straight hitting Super Brend McCarney! 🏆 Thanks to Chairman Richard Maxwell,Skip John Milton & Tournament director Jules Elliott & his assistant Neil Dade. We enjoyed the courses and the hospitality at the hotel. Our next away trip is to Yorkshire in June - our 3rd visit to the area and we’re very much looking forward too it! 😎⛳️🍻

4th event of the season and we were once again blessed with perfect golfing conditions! 😎
Great turn out of 35 members and on the whole scoring was very good!
11 gross birdies recorded and an eagle by Neil Dade! 🦅 👏🏻
On the day our winner was the ever steady Brendan McCarney who recorded a fine 39pts! The little Irishman certainly knows how to play these tree lined courses with his accuracy off the tee - as he showed on our recent away trip to Forest Pines! Congrats Brend! 👍🏻
In the Captains 2 competition only 1 was recorded by Ian Roberts, a highlight for him on a difficult day on the course! Well done Ian 👍🏻
Next up is our “home” course Bungay on Friday 16th May.

Well it’s been a busy few days lately for our 24 year old Golf Society. We had Captain John Milton hosting his day at the scenic Sheringham before heading to Forest Pines for a golfing break away! We were also blessed to have stunning weather for the time of the year 😎
Congratulations to Mark Cushion who won the individual at Sheringham with 41 pts (Gross 79) & the pairs cup went to reigning champions Captain John & James Crosby with 47pts. 🏆 👏🏻
Thanks to our hosts at the Club who looked after us all very well. 👌🏻
