Pentatonic Guitar Lick #9 🎸

Two simple changes take the original pentatonic pattern in a completely different rhythmic direction. This one is slightly trickier to play—but much more interesting!

I have also tried something different with the backing. Instead of the usual drum machine, I used an excerpt from a backing track I created with Suno.

What do you think—does the fuller backing track improve the video, or did you prefer the simpler drum track? Let me know in the comments.

Here’s a ridiculously simple way to create another lick from an idea you already know:

👉 Move the first note to the end of the phrase.

Same notes — completely different feel.

Try it with one of your own pentatonic licks too.
