A big well done to our students who travelled down to Ipswich yesterday to take part in the WTKA Great Britain selection process for 2026.
It was a very busy day with many other clubs from East Anglia in attendance.
The team were certainly put through their paces!
Whilst we wait for the official selection result, we want to say how proud of them we all are for getting this far and for their continued dedication and commitment towards their training.
As always, you were respectful, kind and courteous to all and we are so proud of you.
Good luck! π€πΌπ¬π§

There's much more to Kata than choreography
Kata was never meant to be the fight itself.
Once you begin viewing kata as a physical memory system rather than choreography, many things start to make more sense.

We had a fantastic trip to Hinckley for the Midlands Open Competition yesterday.
We were low on numbers thanks to exam season, but Chloe, Roo and GMV came away with a haul of medals!
A special mention goes to Roo who was placed into a Kumite section with 7 other lads - all purple, brown and black belts. Roo didnβt fuss, he stepped onto the area with laser focus and executed the game plan he and GMV had discussed.
Roo made it to the final which finished as a draw, 8 points each and the winner would be decided by sudden death (first person to score wins). Sadly, Roo didnβt get the next score so took the silver medal - but what a performance and one that we are so proud of.
Well done, Roo ππΌπ¦
