Updated series results following run 3 of the summer series. Big thanks to Rachel Jackson & Ruth Steele for some military precision in result collection. Combined this with a lack of AI involvement this week has enabled a more speedy publication.

Congratulations to all 50 participants which included a number of first timers in this years series. 26 individuals are on course for a series memento. Harvey is slowly chipping away at Paddy Thomas series lead with an excellent sub 5 performance this evening.

We're expecting a bumper attendance next week for the series finale and post run pint at the Shoulder of Mutton.

Braydeston Milers Summer Series Mile 3 this evening .🌞
Up on The Mile this morning it's already still, warm, and sultry, the course looks fantastic!
Hydrate well today, and bring a drink this evening. It might be an idea to leave it out on the first corner so you can pick it up on the way back from the run or get someone to take it to the finish.
Meet at 18:50 at Braydeston Church or 19:00 on the start line. We look forward to seeing you there.
"It's not a race just a bit of fun" πŸ˜‰

Whether you're chasing a personal best or taking on your first mile, come along!
Bring a watch, bring a smile, lace up your trainers, and run your very best mile.
It's free and everyone is welcome. Meet at Braydeston Church at 18:50 or 19:00 on the start line. The Braydeston Milers look forward to seeing you, and as always " it's not a race just a bit of fun!" πŸ˜‰

The results are in! and it’s a Summer Series record turnout of 61 runners!πŸ™

A fabulous time for Paddy! The first to go sub 5 mins this year.
Quite a group behind him as well, Harvey surely a matter of time before he breaks 5, Reuben getting faster and faster! Past champs Cameron and Paul starting to find some form, and the top 14 all under 6 minutesπŸ‘.
Some proper family battles this week as well, with Joel Crane edging out his dad Matt and only 18 seconds behind was his brother Leo. James Pallant showing a clean pair of heels to his brother Russel, and behind Reuben was his dad then his mum David and Caroline. Mark and Gene Keenan managed a dead heat, and Cat beat Baz!! Obviously 😊
Great to see so many new faces, we really appreciate the Great Yarmouth Road Runners making the trip over and it’s also lovely to welcome so many familiar faces and regular Milers.
Look forward to seeing you all, at the same time, in the same place next week.
Big thanks to Paul Higham for putting together the results.

The Braydeston Mile Summer Series No 2.
A double rainbow stretched across The Mile during the week, but the Met Office are predicting near perfect conditions for this evening.
