Starlight Circle Dance

I am sorry to say that I have stopped running the Circle Dancing classes at Rollesby village hall due to low numbers. I am hoping to start something in my new area of South Walsham if there is enough interest.

The Circle dancing afternoon fundraising for Water Aid at Acle Recreation centre on Sunday 22nd March raised £17 for the charity as numbers were low. We had a lovely afternoon doing lots of easy dances from around the world.

Friday 20th March at Rollesby Village hall we had a lovely afternoon 'dancing around the world'. Next dates Friday 17th April and 15th May.

This Sunday 22nd March at Acle Recreation Centre, Bridewell Lane NR13 3RA - An opportunity to try some easy folk dances from around the world from 2 to 4 pm. Everyone welcome but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is no need to bring a partner. There is no admission charge but donations in aid of Water Aid a charity which works in 26 countries worldwide transforming millions of lives every year with safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene projects. The next Circle dancing afternoon at Rollesby Village hall is on Friday 17th April, 2 to 3 and 3.30 to 4.30pm.

Don't forget I am dancing at Rollesby village hall this Friday the 20th in the afternoon. There is also a special event to raise funds for Water Aid at Acle recreation centre on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. Hope you can come and support us.

On Friday 13th Feb at Rollesby village hall we met for our monthly Dance Around the World from 2 to 3pm. After a break for refreshments we continued with a gentler session for beginners from 3.30 to 4.30pm. As it was nearly St Valentines day we had a red heart in the centre piece.

Next meeting is Friday 20th March then 17th April, 15th May and 19th June. If numbers don't pick up I am sorry to say that I won't be able to continue with this class after that so please come along and support it and try to bring a friend.

Yesterday Friday 16th Jan we danced to music from around the world at Rollesby village hall. We will be there again on Fri 13th February, hope you can join us.

Just completed a very successful Dance-athon. About 25 people attended and 20 dances performed. Lots of fun had by all. So far we have raised over £100 for the Air Ambulance, not sure of final figure yet as some sponsor money still to come in. A bid thank you to all who attended for their support. Next charity fund raiser is on Sunday 22nd march from 2 to 4 pm in aid of Water Aid.
