Our Story

Pure Training and Development provides continued professional development to fitness industry professionals, specifically those wishing to work with special population groups.

We aim to provide a range of training both online and offline allowing all fitness professionals to diversify their knowledge and increase their potential to learn and earn. We offer accredited courses from leading awarding organisations (YMCA Awards & Active IQ) to ensure the highest standards of training are achieved. We also offer workshops and seminars endorsed by PD:Approval (REPs) who set the standards for quality learning. We provide both intensive direct learning and online blended learning, allowing you to choose the most suitable pathway for you.

We understand the importance of the learner experience and aim to deliver a learner centred approach to teaching via our friendly and highly qualified team of staff. Our experienced team of tutors and assessors will support you through your chosen training programme making each step of your journey an enjoyable experience.

To continue to support fitness professionals, we have created an online training Hub called the PTD Hub. This hub provides members a monthly bundle of actionable training, allowing them to expand on their existing qualifications, knowledge and skillset. Every bundle is designed like a 'bolt-on' to existing special population qualifications such as GP referral, exercise for older adult & ante and post natal fitness.
