A massive well done and congratulations to Nyah, Louise and Olivia for being selected for the Regional A Squad today being promoted to their Aka belts to wear in Regional sessions. Bright things are in store for the future for our athletes with the opportunity to compete in the upcoming Presidents cup! 🏆

What a fantastic morning I have had teaching in Kinsale in preparation for NSKA’s afterschool club in September! Today I taught Year 3s, 4s and 5s punches, elbows, knees, chops and kicks all to be used in self defence scenarios. Everyone smashed it today and I had a lot of fun!💪

It was an absolute joy teaching alongside NSKA superstar D’Angelo 🫶

Well done all and I can’t wait to be back in September for our new afterschool club coming to Kinsale! 🙌

What a fantastic morning I have had teaching in Firside for their sports week! Today I taught Year 3s and 4s some advanced strikes like elbows, knees, and chops. Which they took to immediately and smashed it! 💪

It was an absolute joy teaching today and I had the pleasure of having some of our NSKA superstars come and help me through the sessions 🫶

A massive well done to our Norfolk Karate Team this weekend competing at the Central England Competition in Worcester. 🏆

A small but mighty team we took to the event this weekend. The athletes showed immense energy, focus and passion through the whole day. 💪

We had D’Angelo make his way through multiple rounds in his Kyu grade and Open Kata category’s securing Gold and Silver in the events. This young man is proving to be a future star as he continues to perform at National level competition. Keep up the great work. 🥇🥈

Olivia made her way through the rounds in her Kata category making it all the way to the quarter final after some impressive performances out of 28 competitors! She then went onto win Bronze in her Kumite category getting to the semi final, only just missing out on the final after a very impressive comeback through the bout. 💪🥉

Louise gave some great performances in Worcester, choosing Anan in her Kata category we could see the determination and fire within her which was phenomenal to see. Her performance in her Kumite bout was also very impressive as she scored her first ever Ippon which was very well executed. Missed out on the medals but the performances given were more than enough to impress the coaches. 💪🔥

Keep up the amazing work team. We are all incredibly proud! 🙌
