Quick note!! Syndicate Lake closed this coming weekend for tree work, it’s almost done 🙏
Sorry for any inconvenience, new sleepers will be going in along the banks over the next couple of months, but the lake will remain open during this time 🎣🎣

Well that’s us done here for another year, tough going, but still has some nice fish, and a few new species 😊
The last couple of days saw Rich land another couple of big Siamese 125 & 90lb - we then finished on the species lake for a few hours this morning before embarking on our trip back to the airport hotel.
A great few days away, excellent food, great company and as ever staff and guides who ensure everything is spot on 👍
A few pellets in the pond to watch the Ari’s feed on our way out was a reminder just how much I’d like to catch them again, next time ….. 🙏
Now for that flight home 😐😴

Sunday Roast !! Yep, they even have those here, Pork today for us today, anyway got a few hours before that!
So yesterday started off well, a Carp after about 30 mins of fishing, only around 45lb but a good sign, then nothing for another few hours, again it was the mid afternoon when fish started to show again, Nikki had a really dark fish of 75lb which gave her some stick, we tried close in for the allusive Ari’s last thing, but they remained just that! “For now’ 🙏
Heavy rain last night and this morning wasn’t anywhere near as active, that said I just had a run while typing this, but the hook pulled once the fish got close to the bank!! - thats fishing 🤪🎣
Rods are back out, fingers crossed …..
