I’m building something new 😌
Something I’ve been thinking about for ages but keep putting it off due to self doubt.
But it’s something that’s important for me and I know will help so many others.
An online space that’s free to access.. yoga specifically aimed at carers to reconnect, fill their cup and breathe.
Together we will pause, rest but also build strength and resilience.
It will be a space for anyone to come together whatever your challenges in life.
Yoga supports me and I want to share that with you.
Here we meet here we care is being built..
It will be available to access on instagram, via my website and on you tube. It’s all going take me a bit longer to get everything set up but aiming by August 🤞
Keep checking in and share with your friends and family who you feel may benefit 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This month classes 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗙𝗬𝗥 𖤓 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗦 and have been Mandala heart opening flows.
Creating different patterns of movement to encourage different patterns of thoughts…
Love sharing these practices and love watching everyone’s freedom of movement, openness and confidence as the sequence progresses.

I asked everyone at the start of the class to mentally guide awareness to three questions and I invite you to answer the same three questions.

What do you love about yourself?
What are you most proud of about yourself?
What are you are deeply grateful for?

Hi everyone ☺️

I'm a fully qualified sound practitioner, working in the field for 10+ years now.

Sound and vibration doesn’t just settle you, it helps relax parts you're not even aware of.

My sound bath sessions combine instruments to shift the body into a parasympathetic state, gently encouraging a move from stress to renewal.

You might feel relaxed, revived, or even like you've been on a journey - all in 1 hour.

Where will the sound take you?

Being a carer is tough. If I’m being honest this year has probably been the most challenging so far,
emotionally, mentally and physically.
It sucks witnessing how much suffering the person you’re caring for is going through each day and to accept there’s no fairy dust to sprinkle to make it better .
So many emotions move through me each day.
Worry, sadness. Frustration, a sense of loss, guilt, uncertainty, resentment, deep love, admiration and joy.
The anger and resentment are not aimed towards being a carer but to the disease of primary progressive MS itself and toward some people who I feel have let my person down (not healthy feelings and a continuing work in process🙄!!)

It can feel exhausting and relentless at times. Trying to find a balance between work and being there when needed and to not feel I’m letting one or other down.
Today however has been a good day 😌

So how do I fill my cup and keep my energy packs charged? It’s not easy. I have felt I’ve had to dig deep this year to teach and to do my holistic therapy work , which hasn’t left me much in the tank for much else.
But yoga really is what fills my cup and what I need to take more time for personal practice and continued training.

Yoga is where I meet myself with honesty
Where I cry
Feel
Breathe
Build resilience
Soften the edges
And it’s from that space that I build my classes, from what sustains me i hope supports the people join my classes.
I teach from my own experiences, from a place of honesty and care.
Drawing on the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy and the eight limbs of yoga.

I want to thank all of you who continue to support my classes even when I’ve had to cancel a few of them this year.
You continue to show up week after week online,
At both Venues and my garden studio filling your own cups and my hearts.
