It seems someone is preparing very early for Christmas. Well spotted by Matthew Riches at last nights summer league fixtures.

No hockey for the Nomads this week so a few of the guys took to the Padel court instead!! 🏑 🎾

Great to see one of our young Nomads, Alec, show off his range of skills this week, starring as “Grandpa” in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich.

Talented both on and off the pitch, well done Alec 👏 🎭 🏑

Another fantastic evening of hockey for Nomads Mixed XI with a hard fought 5-2 win vs UEA.

Goals from Matthew Abram (2), Georgia Winter, Henry Page and Ryan James.

Some great hockey with Eric in goal making some wonderful saves and Katie Lawrence and Marie Hood outstanding in midfield.

🏑☀️ Summer Hockey at Nomads ☀️🏑

Another brilliant couple of evenings of summer hockey for the Nomads this week!

The Men’s Summer 7s side had a slow start against Broadland before growing into the game, with Marcus Galey grabbing a great goal and Luke and Greg linking up brilliantly going forward.

The second game saw the Nomads really hit top form, securing a fantastic 3-1 win over the league leaders, the club’s first ever Summer 7s league victory! Goals from Luke Wilsea and Matthew Abram (2) capped off a superb all-round team performance, with John making some outstanding saves and the whole side working tirelessly from start to finish. 💪🔥

Tonight the Mixed XI kept the momentum going with a huge 7-0 win over City to make it 3 wins from 3! Goals from Will Jelley (2) Matty Abram, Edd Barker, Katie Lawrence, Phoebe Betts and David Fairman rounded off another fantastic evening of hockey.

Great effort, great energy and plenty of quality hockey across both nights. ❤️🤍
