What a great evening to finish off Nomads Mixed Summer Hockey with a brilliant mini tournament against Norwich City Hockey Club. Some amazing and friendly hockey played from all the teams.

What a summer it’s been with Nomads Mixed Team excelling in the mixed summer league with 7 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Matthew Abram, Edd Barker, Katie Lawrence and Ryan James scoring plenty.

Great preseason friendly for the Nomads last night against a strong Broadland Hockey Club side with some very good players.

Really friendly competitive game with Broadland coming away with a 7-1 win.

What a great week to finish both our men’s 7’s and mixed summer league.

Hugely grateful to Broadland Hockey Club and Norwich Dragons Hockey Club for putting them on.

It’s been brilliant to be able to develop both our men’s and mixed sides and welcome new members.

Our final mixed game was an excellent 2-2 draw vs Norwich City Hockey Club with goals from Pietro Meneghello and Sofia Sterry.

With Nomads scheduled match cancelled this week, Nomads decided to take on Norfolk Pies, a team filled with National League and International players to give themselves a challenge.

An excellent game with some brilliant hockey from both teams. Norfolk Pies coming away with the win but a great experience for the mighty Nomads to play against a fantastic side and help us learn and develop.
