9-10am Saturday at the UEA SPORTSPARK. The girls in action
Small Football School and Heigham Park Rangers U6 Football Pathway.
A month in and we can see the results.
The kids are learning and so are the parents.
Yes, the all point of the partnership between Small Football School and Heigham Park Rangers is to coach the kids football and to prepare the parents to become Football coaches.

Small Football School academy Celebrates the Lionesses victory at the 2025 European Football Championship by preparing the Next Generation.
In 2025 our Y6 academy members left the nest and created with my guidance and Support the Heigham Park Rangers U12 Panthers Girls Football team.
The Newly founded Girls Team will be competing in 2025-26 Girls Football League🥳

On top of running the Small Football School academy, i also coach Heigham Park Rangers U12 League 4 team.
We had an incredible season in which we won the League Unbeaten.
An incredible feat taking into account that it is the team second year of existence.
Yesterday was the team award ceremony. A lot of emotions as you can experience what the season and the achievements meant for everyone, the parents, the kids and the coaches.
I was super emotional, extremely proud and surprised to be handed a trophy.
They got me the Trophy of “Coach of the Year”.
It was a long season in which i put a lot of time, energy and passion and could not have asking for a better ending.
On to the next one
We are getting there…
Good things always take time, but watching the girls and looking back at where we started from always bring joy to my eyes.
Slowly but surely they are improving
Real quality on the pitch and some really nice passing and defending
It was an epic game 10-10 final score.
End of the term, time for fun. Kids and parents battle it out and we create special moments.

A proud Coach!
This morning was a wonderful one.
A reminder of why I am a Football coach. To be a Coach is hard but so Rewarding.
It doesn’t not start on the pitch during the session…nope.
It starts before the session, thinking about what you will do, then during the session you need to adapt what you do to achieve 2 important results.
On one hand, I have to teach my players and have them buy into my Football Philosophy “EFFORT, INIATIVE & PRIDE”
On the other hand, I need to keep it Fun.
There is a Fine line between being Competitive, respectful and having fun, but it is Achievable.
The Small Football School Philosophy
EFFORT: Effort is Imperative, without runs we don’t have the ball so cannot play football
INIATIATIVE: The players are taught skills then empowered to display those skills, they decide if dribbling or running or passing the ball.
PRIDE: I only teach football, without compromise, we play NICE football, NOT kick the ball about!
The girls have always been receptive to try to play well but this morning
I saw Tremendous EFFORT and INITIATIVE.
Looking back, when I started to train the girls, they would hardly touch each other, they would avoid contact, they would be nice and always pass.
Today they shone for their physical display, holding, pushing and their individual skills and initiatives were off the Charts 📊
Today they made me REALLY PROUD.
