Excited to present the LTA Youth Schools Teacher Training Course to the Epic Partners Group based at the Oliver Hind Youth Centre, to assist the staff with their delivery of tennis in primary schools. I have a particular passion for schools' tennis as I believe it is one of the best ways to introduce children to the sport which is why the role of teachers is so important to inspire the next generation of tennis players 💪🎾.

Patrick Smith Tennis Coaching is running children's tennis camps at Keyworth Tennis Club during the summer holidays.

Centre Court for the Wimbledon Championships 2026! Although I have been lucky enough to go on several previous occasions it nevers fails to be a fantastic day and always inspirational to see the best players in the world live and up close. Great to be able to support Nottingham Tennis Centre colleague Freya Christie who was playing a ladies doubles match on court 5.

I had the pleasure of Year 2 from Willowbrook Primary School visit Keyworth Tennis Club for a taster session. The children were fantastic and hopefully learnt lots of new skills in what was, for many of them, their very first experience of tennis! Keyworth Tennis Club are always keen to welcome new children to the club and will have a stand at the Keyworth Show this Saturday 4th July where families can play on our free mini tennis court and get information from the club committee and coaching team.

Off the courts this week due to The Lexus Nottingham Open and on a holiday to the Lake District. Dodging most of the rain to climb to the top of several fells, a boat trip on lake Windermere and mini golf. Awesome trip and back to tennis from Wednesday.

All systems go for the Lexus Nottingham Open 2026 starting this weekend. Have you got your tickets?! 🎾

Great to see so many players at the May half term holiday camps at Keyworth Tennis Club. We hope you all had as good a time as the coaches!

Watch this space for the summer holiday camp dates and a reminder that our summer term coaching programme resumes on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th June. We have lessons for ages 6 and upwards.

Keyworth Tennis Club held another successful Open Day on Saturday 16th May 2026. Fortunately managed to dodge the rain and it was one of our biggest ever with children and adults of all ages taking part. At one point we had all 8 courts in use including the South Wolds school courts.
I hope all the attendees enjoyed the day and the coaching taster sessions. Thanks to the volunteers who helped on the day particularly with the coaching you were fantastic and it was really appreciated.

2pm Junior Red 5-8yrs
3pm Junior Orange 8-10 yrs
4pm Junior Yellow 11-18 yrs
