If you are Strength Training as you lose weight, your body will prioritise and protect muscle tissue and tend to burn more body fat for energy. Muscle tissue burns a lot of energy. When you are trying to lose weight and keep it off, it is critical that you do all that you can to burn primarily body fat and preserve muscle mass.

๐๐ Strengthening Women 2026 ๐๐ The secret to our 30-minute workout is our machines - let's take a closer look the awesomeness that is THE SQUAT machine ๐ฅ๐
๐ค We had to get to this one eventually so let's go there - often viewed as the bully of the group this is probably the most misunderstood machine on our circuit. Yet, with a personality this big, without it our circuit would be sadly depleted.
๐ When your job is to work ALL the biggest, most powerful muscles in the body, in combination, you're going to cause trouble in the process! We're not wired to like hard. This is a machine you need to learn to love - understand your body was made to do this. You have muscles that when used correctly are designed to lift a heavy load and protect your spine and your joints in the process!
It's hard because it's the BIG CALORIE BURNER and that stuff don't come without EFFORT But it's totally worth it because;
๐ You'll build powerful glutes (that's your butt), hamstrings and quads (in your thighs) - key muscles for movement, making everyday life easier.
๐ Your glutes will learn their job and start doing it; whether your sat on it or lifting something your butt is there to take the load!
๐ Those muscles learn to work as a team โ glutes giving the power, iliopsoas the flex, and quads and hamstrings controlling the movement
๐ Powering up those muscles will make sure you get more power into any other activity you do... walking, cycling, swimming, getting up out of the chair will be easier
๐ Someone in your life will admire your butt and make you feel EPIC

๐๐ Strengthening Women 2026 ๐๐ The secret to our 30-minute workout is our machines - let's take a closer look at the rotary torso machine ๐ฅ โ it often feels like a tricky one to handle, it's mighty tough (when you get it right) and your face will tell that tale!
It works the oblique muscles which unite with your other core muscles to keep your middle tight and under control... you DON'T need those special knickers to do this, you have muscles!.
Talking of knickers, these muscles are the ones that give you the sexy v which will launch your lingerie modelling career... However, if you've got other things to do in life a strong core means;
๐ Strong balance to make everyday tasks easier - anything involving lifting and turning is made easier when these muscles are there to support you (even sitting will be easierโฆ)
๐ Improved posture - making you look and feel a million dollars
๐ You can work the other muscles harder on the other machines because your core is doing what it should - holding you in place
๐ You are a warrior that has overcome everything that has sabotaged your body - babies, sitting at a desk, driving, high heels, the passing of time...
