Bestwood Colliery FC have had a meeting with the Nottinghamshire FA this morning.

Head Coach Kasey Fisher and Manager Michael Hickling explained their vision for a club with an academy setup with more kids teams and a training pitch on the old 5 a side the FA are going away to draw up some plans and make some suggestions on what they think we can do. We are also looking at getting some work done to the main pitch.

Although we have the offer to apply for a grant and support of the FA. We have to now ask for permission to apply for the grant asking the bestwood miners welfare institute to approve us doing so, as they hold a lease on the ground of over 100 years they decide what happens on there and the land they own which is the 5 aside at the welfare complex .

We have sent an email to the trustees tonight.
