Our Disability Pathway Coach of the Year, sponsored by the Nottinghamshire Disability Football Family, Mark Rye 👏

As Head of Disability Football at West Bridgford Colts, Mark oversees the coaching of their three open-age Pan Disability teams.

He is a volunteer coach with players that are not personally linked to him, yet his commitment has gone as far as spending Father’s Day and his wife’s birthday with the players rather than his family!

He is instrumental in the club delivering a successful disability offering, striking the perfect balance between being a friendly, trusted adult and being a professional coach that sets high standards.

Mark takes time to get to know each player and their journeys, and helps them develop to the best of their unique abilities.
