NFC Ace Pigeon 2026

I’ve just computed the results of the NFC Ace Pigeon 2026, and it seems likely that Booth & Roper, and Joe Lewis, respectively 1st Open (1st South and 4th Open (1st North) are among the leading pigeons.

Congratulations to them both, keeping a pigeon fit enough and motivated sufficiently to win three good positions in NFC Channel races is not so easy, proof if ever was needed that these are very good pigeons indeed.

NFC Isigny-sur-Mer birds have been liberated at 7 30am UK time in a South wind. The Cherbourg Peninsula and English Channel are clear, and the wind in the channel is a strong south wind. The UK is mainly clear with scattered showers, due to move in late afternoon.

Marking update.

Thanks to all the members & marking teams.

Birds all been collected and have been fed and watered.

Transporter is at the docks waiting for the ferry and will cross tonight.

We would like to thank all sponsors again for the 2026 season.

We would like to thank Mark Gilbert and the committee of the BB&O fed for the use of there transporter for the race.

Also thanks to David Parsons for all his hard work with the club and also in channel racing in general.

For anyone entering by post who hasn't sent their entry yet, don't risk it, save yourself postal anxiety by ringing the race manager to book your entries instead and pay by card 😁 Telephone entries accepted over the weekend as well as weekdays.
