Client smashed it this weekend at with a huge 170kg bench giving him the all time British record for his class by 20kg.

Client currently running my shoulder rehab squat program wanted to take a max deadlift day for a local competition.

As we have focused efforts on squats, deadlifts are down to 1 day per week and deload week dropped perfectly.

No adjustments really required as everything was tapering nicely.

Here is an easy 320kg pull which is the most pulled since he tore his hamstring. Building the numbers back nicely!

P.S. his squats are flying!

Client took 191.5kg for a ride on his 8RM

We have been working on a big hypertrophy block with squats 3 times per week.

His squats are starting to fly during this second block with an estimated 25kg increase on his safety bar squat 1RM

New lifters!

Always listen to those who have been around the block, but learn how to use that advice!

Don’t got blindly into all the advice you are given as many many experienced lifters have made huge mistakes and some have picked up injuries that have cut short their lifting careers.

This is where you need to be sensible with their advice!

Take your time!

Listen to your body!

Lift in a gym where people won’t blow smoke up your ass and tell you your sky high squats will be good on the day!

Get a couple of competitions under your belt and learn the ropes.

Most importantly, have fun!
